I'll try and get it done today, Rich! I forget everything!

10. Beyonce - Single Ladies [Peak: 2]

So, this was pretty much a marmite song, and yes, it is very repetitive. I'm not quite sure what it is that makes me love this song quite so much, and maybe the video does indeed help - but there must've been some appeal for it to get a #2 peak, and #10 of 2009!

9. Pixie Lott - Boys & Girls [Peak: 1]

This spent 5 weeks at the top of my chart, which begs the question, why is this only #9, when it spent such a long time at the top. It's a matter of how well songs age, I haven't listened to this as much - but after last nights party, I can safely assure you it's still pretty amazing!

8. Kelly Clarkson - My Life Would Suck Without You [Peak: 1]

What a superb comeback for Miss Clarkson! This was the perfect comeback for me, and it's still just as fantastic now as it was when it reached #1, some songs get boring after a while, but this really is a song that just remains a true great of 2009.

7. Lily Allen - The Fear [Peak: 1]

Now, this was #1 for 6 whole weeks, pretty damn impressive! And, another great comeback. It held one song off for 4 weeks, this song is actually higher. But, anyhow, it's still definetly worthy of such a long time at #1, because this is one of 2009's defining songs.

6. David Guetta; Kelly Rowland - When Love Takes Over (including Electro Radio Edit) [Peak: 1]

Now, this is where my chart got difficult. I swapped and changed my #1 so many times, that all of these 6 were #1 at some point. When Love Takes Over is at #6, but I adore it so much, and it was definetly the perfect summer dance track. Who'd have thought? Rowland ahead of Beyonce in this countdown, eh?! However, 2 versions of this song made #1, the Electro Radio Edit made it also. TUNE.

5. Lady Gaga - Just Dance [Peak: 2]

My highest non #1, above the song that kept it off #1 (The Fear). It was the song that immediately made me fall in love with the Gaga, back when she wasn't quite as kooky as she is now - but even without the craziness, she was still the Gaga that I still adore to this date. Just Dance. The first of 3 Gaga tracks in the Top 5. Obsessed much?

4. Alexandra Burke - Bad Boys [Peak: 1]

I wanted Diana Vickers to win X Factor 2009 - but jesus christ, I am happy Alexandra Burke did now. This song remains absolutely superb, and she couldn't have had a better debut in my opinion, to launch her into the spotlight. Perfection, from first listen.

3. Lady Gaga - Bad Romance [Peak: 1]

RA RA AH AH AH. RO MA RO MA MA. GA GA OOH LA LA. From the first listen of the demo, I knew Gaga was on to a winner. And how right I was. The 2nd of the 3 Gaga's in the Top 5, and it falls at #3, was a perfect way to round off 2009 - the year of the Gaga.

2. Lady Gaga - Poker Face [Peak: 1]

Just Dance did a good job of getting Gaga's name heard, but Poker Face was undoubtedly the track that put her up there as someone who will be around for a LONG time. The party I went to last night, reminded me, that this goes down an absolute treat, and is Gaga's best track in my opinion. LOVE FOR THE GAGA, 3 songs in the Top 5, but none of them could quite get that #1.

I'M GONNA LEAVE IT 10 MINUTES TO CREATE SOME SUSPENSE. IT WON'T WORK, BUT OH WELL, IT'S WORTH A TRY. IT'S MARCH, I'M NOT EXPECTING ANY REAL SUSPENSE.

WHO'S GONNA BE THE #1, FIND OUT IN 10!

1. Pussycat Dolls - Jai Ho! [Peak: 1]

So, Theo is correct. The song that spent an incredible 7 weeks at the top of my chart, does indeed top this countdown also. This is actually hated by lots, who feel the original A.R Rahman version is better. Clearly I disagree, because this is THE song of 2009 for me, another song that got a spin at this party last night. And, guess who everyone was staring at dancing to it? Yes, me. TUNE.

That is a coincidence indeed. Your party didn't play 'Rocket' by Goldfrapp, and everyone just stood still like WTF IS THIS, did it?

IT DID NOT. To my knowledge anyway. I was absent for about 15 minutes to allow my stomach to make peace with my body by giving up approximately everything it owned. However, quite why ANYBODY would play such a non-entity of a track at a party as Rocket is, is entirely beyond me.
