Yeah, the record company have pumped in a lot of money for her campaigns there, despite many not being familiar with her as a personality. Although, iTunes isn't quite such a monopoly like it is in the UK in other countries.

Lots of money for her worldwide compaigns?

She has done only one TV performance overseas (in Denmark), and quickly visited Germany and the Netherlands for a few radio interviews.

Good for her having success worldwide. I hope she reloads 3 words.

Anyway, new peak in France, she finaly got into the top10 on Itunes, #10 ! :cheer:

She's coming to France on Wednesday to promote the album.

When is the physical for Fight For This Love out in France? or is she not getting one? Don't you need a physical CD to chart like in Germany?

The physical CD is out on the 12th of April.

There is two seperate official charts : the physcal chart, and the download chart. Unfortunately both aren't combined :( She peaked at #20 on the download chart a few weeks back, but she's gonna do better this week for sure :)

Well physical sales are dire so the physical chart is becoming so irrevealant now. Even music channels are now giving up on it, and play the download chart instead.

Alright, her French label has confirmed she is performing on Le Grand Journal wednesday evening (9-10pm UK time). That's the daily number 1 talk show, and that's THE place to perform and launch new artists! Lady GaGa was on it few months back, it's like the best place to promote for her! I'm so happy!!

 

And I'm already planning to have a Cheryl party at mine and invite my friends so we all watch Cheryl launching her career on French tv :kink: oh my!

I think that's because she has some radio interviews planned for Wed and Thursday so they are announcing her venue and playing her a lot more. Same in the press. :cheer:
Omg France Needs to realize its the twenty first century and combine the download and physical chart.
New entry in the itunes Greek chart. Currently at #6 :) I am quite impressed as shes done no promotion in greece and I dont think she is planning to, yet she's in the itunes top10 without much radio promotion :) Actually she's in almost every itunes chart right now if you check the itunes top10 songs ;) yay chezza!

She's doing a "live chat" on a big French newspapers website right now. The questions have been pretty random so far but I'll let you know if anything new/exciting is revealed in the interview ^_^

 

About the next album: it will be a bit more made for dancing, and she said her French fans could be delighted about one song... maybe... (maybe a song in French?? :o )

 

Oooh I asked a question about 'Stand up' being the next single and she replied to me!! She said it's not decided yet, we'll see. First she does the tour with the BEP and she'll see how the audience reacts to the track!
