X Factor Winner Alexandra Burke was the first ever #1. Lady GaGa knocked herself off #1 three times - she spent 4 weeks at #1, with three different songs. "A White Demon Love Song" (a song from the New Moon soundtrack) has had the longest time at #1, with three weeks, and is the last #1 of the year. Could it also be the first #1 of 2010? "Meet Me On The Equinox", also from the New Moon soundtrack, has had the longest chart run, 13 weeks, but only made it to #2. It peaked at #2 on it's 9th week in the chart, due to the release of "New Moon" at the cinema, which also led to "A White Demon Love Song" rising from #20 to #1 (and the fact I went to see the movie again on Xmas Eve is why it's regained the top spot). Joe McElderry may not have been the UK Christmas #1, but he was the BZF Christmas #1. Finally, Susan Boyle has the record for biggest drop, getting to #1 on week 3 of the chart, but dropping out of the top 20 the following week. And Lady GaGa still makes up 25% of my chart :wub: BZF's "Top 85 of 2009" will be published later in the week. The top 10 includes an amazing song which didn't get the airplay it deserved, a girlband currently in my chart, a US teen pop sensation, some concoction involving Scott Mills, a very GaGa lady, an American Idol winner, a Dutch woman who isn't Esmee Denters, a Swedish woman, a song from the Twilight soundtrack, and some American that kissed a girl.
