With The Glee Club slipping to No2 after three weeks on top and Paolo Nutini down one place to No3, Gorillaz have the next new entry at No4 with their third album ‘Plastic Beach’, just behind the No2 debut for ‘Demon Days’ in 2005 but well ahead of the No12 opener for ‘Gorillaz’ in 2001. The Chieftains & Ry Cooder have the third and final new entry at No14 with ‘San Patricio’, a collaboration which blends Irish & Mexican music styles to tell the tale of the San Patricio Battalion in the Mexican-American War 150 years ago. Jedward and Vanilla Ice return to the top of the Singles Chart with ‘Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby)’ for a fourth week on top, while Boyzone slip to No2 after one week at the summit with ‘Gave It All Away’. With the rest of the Top5 unchanged from last week and little significant movement in the Top 10, this week’s highest new entry is at No13 for Tinie Tempah with ‘Pass Out’ - already a No1 in his native UK. Train, who re-united last year after a 3-year break, have the next new entry at No19 with ‘Hey, Soul Sister’, their first Irish hit single since ‘Drops Of Jupiter’ which reached No33 in 2001.
