January 6, 201016 yr ** puts hand up ** :P Well, maybe not no. 3 but I've thought all along that 'Starstrukk' is much better than 'Don't Touch Me' thanks to Katy Perry. I expected top ten, but a top 5 debut going to the top 3 a few weeks later is completely beyond my expectations :o Don't Trust Me was one of the worst singles of last year, Starstrukk is at least 1000 times better :P

Big flop for Bieb :w00t: How is IFTK back so high again? :unsure: Sweet Disposition too. Flomac with 2 in the top 30 :yahoo: I hope Lostprophets go top 30... I wonder if people just don't know it's released or whatever? Or they're waiting for the abum? It doesn't seem to be getting as much airplay as INTEOTWBICSIFH though. Gonna be a close on sunday! I can't remember the last really close battle to #1, was probably Kelly Clarkson and Taylor Swift last spring. Exciting :D
January 6, 201016 yr Author The albums that has gone past expectations in the top 10 is Will Young and Snow Patrol, they must be selling consistantly for the past few weeks, I never expected these two GHs albums do so well where Madonna bombed, mind you Madonna has had 2 previous GHs albums.

That was the closest #1 battle we'll see for a while :P It's good to start off 2010 with two chart battles - Sidney vs. Iyaz and Paolo vs. Flomac. The very first week of 2010 also saw a shock #1 album while the singles chart was obviously going to GaGa after we saw the first mids. Excitin' :lol:

January 6, 201016 yr Thanks for the updates. Wasn't sure The Saturdays would do it, but it looks good! I hope they don't lose steam on physicals because of the snow, though. Glad to see Pixie's album staying Top 15 for another week, hopefully she can go Top 10 next week. JLS have sold like crazy, but sales seem to be in plummet mode :rolleyes:
