Anyone bought this? Great triple CD. Got it Sunday as it has Kiss Me Quick which I didn't have and which isn't often on compilations.

I haven't bought it yet, but I have so many Elvis albums with these tracks on already. It is a great album though and glad you're enjoying it

'Elvis '75 Promo video':

SonyMusic Germany have posted an extended promo clip for 'Elvis '75' online. 'Elvis '75 - 2010 is the year of The King'. The video is a great look at the most important release of this year's Birthday celebrations.

Check out the promo clip here.

Wednesday Update. 'Elvis 75' now No.21. This is a 344% increase since it's release on Monday having sold 4813 copies. :cheer: Apparently positions 21 down to 15 are very close and apart from 'Elvis 75' their sales are dropping. Elvis could eventually get near the Top 10 by the end of the week. The reason for the album being released to a couple of supermarket chains before Christmas was that they could not put it on sale until next week (11th) and that would have been too late for the TV marketing campaign.

Great news - thanks Brian

I'm not just enjoying it. I'm LOVING IT. Top 30 in today's album chart mids which surprises me as I thought it was a certain top 10 album. Guess there have been too many compilations for casual buyers. :(

I brought this today although I haven't had the chance to listen to it yet. I was brought up on my Dad's old Elvis LP's and my sister has the Elv1s: 30 #1's compilation but this is my first actual Elvis purchase.

"Elvis 75" CD..Enters at No.8 on the album chart!! :cheer:

I'm so pleased about this. I was following the daily updates since last Tuesday...

From Tuesday - Friday the provisional positions were:

Top 30

Top 30

Top 20

Top 15

I really wasn't sure if it would squeeze into the Top 10 but really happy. According to Chart info on Buzz Jack it's Elvis' 108th chart album and the sales were 15 832 copies sold!!

That's fantastic news, Ian. Don't think Elvis made the charts last year so I am so happy that this release has made the Top 10. It is a great CD and lets hope it stays on the charts for a while as we're not too far behind the Beatles when it comes to weeks on the charts :cheer:

I've been listening to it non-stop now for the past two days and it's fantastic! A lot of the lesser-known songs I'm rediscovering all over again and many of them I had completely forgot about. I'm already planning on buying more of his stuff as soon as I can

That's fantastic to hear, Swagger! There are so many great songs on this CD and many of which, don't get played too much on the radio so it's great to hear you are rediscovering them. It's good to hear that you now want to hear more Elvis

There are so many Elvis CDs out there and Elvis was such a versatile singer, that it's hard to recommend to others, but I'll have a go  I've given links to Amazon as for some of the albums I've listed, you can actually take a brief listen to the tracks.
