Researchers inspecting an object that some thought could have been the wreckage of Amelia Earhart's plane on a remote Pacific island say it is likely to be washed up trees. The team travelled to a lagoon in the Taraia Peninsula on Nikumaroro, Kiribati, to confirm whether a shiny object first spotted on satellite imagery in 2020 solved the decades-long mystery of the pioneering pilot's disappearance. But Purdue University, which has a leading role in the study, said the so-called Taraia Object "was likely a collection of large trees deposited along the peninsula's sandspit". By the time the team arrived at the site a good portion of the debris had fragmented and washed away, leaving only a single Y-shaped segment, the university said.

Do you agree that Dancing Queen is a bit overrated and overplayed now John? Easily their best-known song though but despite it being a US No.1 surprisingly Fernando outsold it worldwide in the 70's. As I've said in the best-sellers thread I prefer Super Trouper, Fernando, Lay All Your Love On Me, and album tracks As Good As New, The Piper and That's Me. Any wedding disco these days and they'll play DQ though. Loved the Twiggy track in Autumn 76 but my fave of 76 is coming up, Pussycat.

I disagree. Abba have better album tracks. Try As Good As New, That's Me or Hasta Manana.

Sad for Dolly but she gets her two biggest hits and Jolene betters it's No.7 peak in 1976 by just one place. I bought the RCA 45 then.
