January 13, 201015 yr I'm torn between Nottee and Inga and Anush for the next contest - I was gonna go with Claudia Cream but I thought that'd be a bit typical :P
January 16, 201015 yr Author final Rontvian odds to WIN the final...a couple of dark horses emerging, the most prominent being Herzebania - I guess there's always a slice of Swedish cheese that does well so it makes sense :heehee: 1/20 Quotosibb: Marina & The Diamonds - Hollywood 4/1 Xanaga: Ke$ha - Your Love Is My Drug 5/1 Mdiče: I Blame Coco; Robyn - Caesar 6/1 Numayania: HURTS - Wonderful Life 6/1 United States of Jack: Natalia Kills - Zombie 9/1 Hendinia: Daisy Dares You; Chipmunk - Number One Enemy 9/1 Torchwood: Delerium; Kreesha Turner - Dust In Gravity 9/1 Herzebania: Eric Saade - Sleepless 12/1 FSR Rontvia: Shackles - Breaking The Silence 15/1 Elëdan: Jónsi - Boy Lilikoi 18/1 FNT Nickodonia: Leddra-Chapman - Story 18/1 Kingdom of Shadow: Soft Toy Emergency - Critical 20/1 Ben's Sanctuary: Lady GaGa - Alejandro 25/1 UnoShake: Wynter Gordon - Alice In Wonderland 25/1 Lorikeet: Jessie Malakouti - Standing Up For The Lonely 25/1 Utopia: Chew Lips - Slick 30/1 Ojnoj: Lemar - The Way Love Goes 30/1 Egabbac: Vampire Weekend - Cousins 30/1 Kylienips: Miss Li - Dancing The Whole Way Home 30/1 Dalisska: Swimming With Dolphins - Silhouettes 30/1 Land Of Jack: Erik Grönwall - Higher 30/1 Britmasu: Kristinia DeBarge - Future Love 40/1 B.a.N.G: Karen O & The Kids - All Is Love 40/1 Botanikka: Melanie Fiona - Monday Morning 50/1 Nonsuch: Sarah Harding - Too Bad 50/1 Xyland: Shakira - Men In This Town 60/1 Lotopialand: Runner Runner - So Obvious 70/1 Palmyra: Tamar Kaprelian - New Day 80/1 Kopečka: Bon Iver - Skinny Love 100/1 Simondly: Mary J. January 16, 201015 yr still a completely obvious winner though...the 2-15 region could be incredibly close indeed though I totally agree with you... but it's NOT Quotosibb.
January 16, 201015 yr Author nearly everyone loves and I mean LOVES Hollywood! surefire winner I'd say - amazing song
January 16, 201015 yr But it's a bit cheap isn't it? It's been around since half way through the last contest and so the majority of people would have been familiar with it already. I think the winning song will be one with an equal amount of charm for both indie and pop voters but which is only just starting to be a hit on the radio.
January 16, 201015 yr Yeah but surely after the stick Ben got for enterring Alejandro, a track which may be from a popular album but which won't have been heard by anyone who doesn't have the album, a track which is everywhere will receive some kind of penalty for being cheap? Don't get me wrong I think Marina will deservedly receive an awful lot of points but I just think I Blame Coco is a far more appealing entry which has a similar broad appeal, another favorite BJSC artist but which is far more likely to be a discovery for people in the competition.
January 16, 201015 yr Author To be fair Tom, there hasn't been an original winner since XVII my proudest moment  I guess Tom's talking about Daisy Dares You or I Blame Coco (but is this on the radio!?!) - HURTS might appeal to both crowds too but I recall asking Tom's opinion on it last month when I was thinking of sending it and he wasn't overly impressed... either way, Hollywood can't lose this edit: talking about I Blame Coco then :P

Marina's position as the favorite all week can only have hurt her chances too... This said my run away favorite song in this contest isn't either of these two and I'm rubbish at predicting how songs will do but it's nice to rock the boat a little.

For the record I don't think for one minute this song will win but I reckon FNT Nickodonia's entry is this contests dark horse.
January 16, 201015 yr Author FNT Nickodonia would be a brilliant dark horse, I can see it coming 10th-13th but it deserves top 5 - won't happen though :(

It's not on the playlist but it has been played by both Whiley and her flaired nostrils replacement.
January 16, 201015 yr Author Cousins has risen in my odds quite considerably :o but I can't see it having a hope in hell's chance of winning - could easily come top ten though - it's catchy
January 16, 201015 yr Author what about Ke$ha :o she's flavour of the month! although I guess the problem there is that everyone has their own different favourite track on Animal Kiss 'n' Tell is mine for those that care
January 16, 201015 yr Kiss N Tell is mine too  Ke$ha will come top 5 but I'm not sure she'll make second now ;o
January 16, 201015 yr Author if Hollywood hadn't been entered this would have been one of the closest, most exciting contests for months, I couldn't have predicted a winner :o
