January 15, 201015 yr Author Just before we complete the full no nonsense singles...I know for many, that people are sick of the chart show, put out by Radio One and the nob-end called Reggie Yates. Think we are justified in saying that (according to him, Jason Derulo topped the singles chart recently)! Then a few weeks back he was talking infantile about sneezing snot on the counter in a shop! Highly gross talk for a chart show (and any show). If you`ve had enough of that crap...try giving Jason Scott a listen on http://www.thesuperstation.info this Sunday at 4pm. As I am supplying the chart, probably not far away from Radio One anyway, give it a go. Promise you`ll hear the complete top 40, no talking bollocks, and plenty of interesting info. You can still follow the Radio One Top 40...here on Buzzjack`s best "Sunday Chart Thread" with the gang of course, along with a better countdown! Right here is the chart as we find it today at 5pm. Compiled by DTR, based on Physical/Downloads in the top 40, and pure downloads in the 41-75. The Top 20 based on Chart Show tv`s but without airplay, and updated sales. January 15, 201015 yr Thanks Dave! Funny to see both versions of Empire State Of Mind AND Don't Stop Believing next to each other! Is Glee likely to overtake Journey by the weekend?
January 15, 201015 yr Author Thanks Dave! Funny to see both versions of Empire State Of Mind AND Don't Stop Believing next to each other! Is Glee likely to overtake Journey by the weekend? I "Believe"...that they will swap places, yes Tom! I thought that the 2 Empire States, could be cut together in one of those old David Jensen special "Network Chart mixes". ;)

January 15, 201015 yr Author The Kane Gang were from North East England (Durham I believe) not North East London! -- Richard Sorry! I mis-typed that one...possibly because I was born in North-East London in Waltham Forest, but there you go!
January 15, 201015 yr When you say that the albums are compiled on a weekly rota from Thurs - Weds, doesn't this just use the Weds midweeks? If it really is compiled between Thursday to the next Wednesday, there's no way that Florence only sold 1.5K from Thurs to Sunday.
January 15, 201015 yr I "Believe"...that they will swap places, yes Tom! I thought that the 2 Empire States, could be cut together in one of those old David Jensen special "Network Chart mixes". ;) I used to love listening to david jensen network chart show in the 80's  . Are the old shows available online anywhere?
January 15, 201015 yr Author When you say that the albums are compiled on a weekly rota from Thurs - Weds, doesn't this just use the Weds midweeks? If it really is compiled between Thursday to the next Wednesday, there's no way that Florence only sold 1.5K from Thurs to Sunday. I can`t use "Official Mids". It`s against the rules. We just adjust the figures, for new entries...and then work it from there. Meaning Florence loses a bit. It was more like 25,000 across Thurs/Fri/Sat. Hence Vampire Weekend, get the sales of that period from Florence (based around Vampire`s pre-order, of last week). Obviously Lungs will now be #1 come Sunday, as i`ve said.
January 15, 201015 yr Author I used to love listening to david jensen network chart show in the 80's  . Are the old shows available online anywhere? http://www.kps.org.uk That holds a edited version of the very first one. I`ll see if in future weeks, if I can get some others in, on here somewhere.
January 15, 201015 yr http://www.kps.org.uk That holds a edited version of the very first one. I`ll see if in future weeks, if I can get some others in, on here somewhere. Thanks, I never started listening to the show until 1988. I used to record the songs from the chart show on Blank tapes- yesteryears equivalent to illegal downloading
