I'm quite pissed off at the fact that when Alexandra was close to getting top 5, that (imo) sh**ty Plan B and Glee overtakes her :(

 

Nothing that interesting in the chart at the moment except the progress of Alex B, Owl City and Gagonce

no but the fact that its getting mass exposure via tv means people will be enthralled by it and lap it up as per usual.btw i havent heard their versions of the songs yet but like the xfactor they are just singing old songs.i judge music by talent not only through singing but also song writing and the ability to play an instrument.

What is necessarily wrong with that? If people like a track, they are entitled to buy it, and there's nothing wrong with that in my eyes.

 

Whether people are exposed to a track via TV, radio, a stadium rock concert, a theatre, a cinema, a small intimate venue or some guy on the street busking, is irrelevant.

 

Not all people judge music by a person's ability to song write / play an instrument - whether that is right or wrong does not negate their right to buy the music if they like it :)

A little part of the actual viewers will download it (just like with every exposure sheme), but it has a big audience so that's why it's up that high on Itunes. It's not like the millions of viewers on TV were acting like zombies and all downloading it. Some people liked it so they downloaded it, end of.

It's not an unfair advantage at all.

It's called promotion, what are they supposed to do, not release the songs because people might download it from the exposure? Get a grip. You could argue people download like zombies when they hear something played on the radio, see a video on a music channel etc.

People are not stating those Glee guys have talented or the best piece of music ever, they're are just enjoying seeing them perform and they want to download the songs so they can keep on enjoying it on their Ipod. Get over it, it's really no big deal.
