Posted January 12, 201015 yr Minogue ahead of schedule on planned LP Sunday, January 10 2010, 15:21 GMT By Sarah Rollo, Entertainment Reporter WENN Kylie Minogue is apparently ahead of schedule with the recording of her new LP. The 41-year-old singer has surprised EMI executives with eight "upbeat" tracks for the follow-up to 2007's X, reports the Daily Star. Minogue has been working with producer Stuart Price on the new material, which is not due until much later in 2010. A spokesperson for the star said that N-Dubz submitted songs for a possible collaboration – but concrete plans for a hook-up are yet to be made.
January 13, 201015 yr Oh dear..I hate N-Dubz but glad to hear about the good progress on the album front.
January 14, 201015 yr I seriously hope that N-Dubz thing actually doesn't materialise, I hate them so much. :puke:
January 17, 201015 yr Author i dont mind N Dubz to be honest but i dont think they suit kylie and i cant see it making it to the album to be honest.
January 18, 201015 yr I hope Stuart gives her some quality tracks like he did for Madonna's "Confessions On A Dance Floor". I know how much Kylie loves Madonna, so there is no way she is gonna expect anything less from Stuart!! Can't wait to hear those tracks!! I am still upset at her that she didn't release "Like A Drug" though----I would have loved to see that video!!
January 19, 201015 yr Speakerphone is produced by Stuart Price and so was the album. I think X does have a different sound to before due to his contribution.
January 24, 201015 yr good news, maybe a spring release isn't too much to hope for. also apparently the US will be the main focus this time round and the album is out in April: http://www.billboard.com/#/news/kylie-mino...004058449.story Edited January 24, 201015 yr by Regina Phalange
January 24, 201015 yr Author Well after another month or so we should start getting more concrete info on the new single which is something to look forward to.
January 25, 201015 yr So much for not caring about the US  they must be really confident that Kylie has, or will be recording something that is going to be a hit for her over here, either way im not complaining as long as it means i get to see her do another concert then its all good!
