January 29, 201015 yr Dave - 'Avatar' WILL be the No.1 All Time UK Box Office Film - but not just yet. And it is not 'Titanic' that is the No.1 UK Film - 'Mamma Mia!' over-took it, in 2008. The 'ABBA' Film took around £69,200,000 in the UK - which knocked 'Titanic' into 2nd place. 'Avatar' HAS overtaken 'Titanic' Globally, to become THE All Time Box Office Film. ('Mamma Mia!' is only 49th Globally). This is from a UK Box Office Site:, But Avatar is almost certain to make it to the all-time number one spot in the UK (currently occupied by Mamma Mia!, with £69.2m) – it will just take another couple of weeks, that's all.
