I'd like to announce thast my chart is officially over after 350+ weeks as compiling them has got as unexciting as EVER. You should not cry though 'coz I shall steal Ben's idea ( :wub: ) and just on this very bandwagon and post 'play'-lists from now on. I could cope when it was Ben, but if more people are gonna start to jump on this playlist thing, can they not post them here? :/ It's bad enough when people post their charts in the "Artist 'Song'" format without me needing to add numbers too.

 

After all, this is a chart section. If you have time to post a list, you have enough time to add numbers. If you don't want your chart counted, get a blog or something. It must be worse for James, the singles charts are generally longer.

Skip my chart. I don't even remotely care about the multichart. I didn't even realize people were trying? :/ It's not like anything I even chart will make it onto the multichart. When I made my first one, I had no intentions of it being included.

 

I'm going to continue posting my playlist in this forum whether you like it or not though.

Yeah, I'm not going to order your chart for you, as well as fixing the apostrophes and adding chart numbers. That's what you're supposed to do.

 

It's not that nothing is in the Multichart (Amy MacDonald, Marina, Vampire Weekend - rly?) anyway. Plus, I do the album chart, which is much easier to get into. The positions can easily change if ranked properly.

I know, which makes me wonder why you'd post it in this format anyway. Fair enough you don't want it included, but using "it won't make the chart anyway" as part of your excuse is lame. You can't complain about everyone elses chart, and the multichart, looking the same if you don't include it.

 

You're an influential person on here, lots of people are interested in your chart/playlist, you're always up for suggesting things to people etc. You might find people charting them and it making an impact. I suppose if you don't care about the Multicharts you don't care if it makes an impact or not. But I would have thought for you, moreso than others, your chart is about introducing music to others and trying to make a difference. It turns out three albums from your chart I counted made the top 40 this week. With you, Pavel, Mark and Dandy posting regularly, it make a difference.

 

Thanks for the tip btw! Can't believe I hadn't thought of that before as that's similar to how I differentiate between "The Fame" and "The Fame Monster" and make all the Glee album tags match. :o

Well it's a not that big a deal, just annoying. It's because they can't be used as separators (like -, –, | etc.) because it'd probably pose a problem with artists or titles that had apostrophes in them.
