Posted January 24, 201015 yr http://i48.tinypic.com/2dtzkly.jpg Hey there and welcome to this week's Official Buzzjack Hot 40, the chart made up of sales, airplay and the all-important multichart, giving an all round accurate view of the tunes Buzzjackers, and indeed the rest of the country, have been enjoying this week. Lady GaGa made it a 6th week at the top last week but faces tough competition this week from Owl City, Alexandra Burke and Glee. Without further ado then, here's this week's chart! Alexandra Burke climbs into the top 3 with Broken Heels, The Saturdays are back up one to #6. Glee makes an impressive 9 place climb to #9 thanks to finally impacting on airplay and going top 10 on multichart, but that's nothing compared to the highest climber of the week, JLs' third single One Shot climbing 22 places to match it's current sales position as it goes big on radio and multichart too. Outside the top 10, Alicia Keys, Girls Can't Catch and OneRepublic fly into the top 20, and the highest new entry is from Example at #17, a long way off it's #6 on sales, but outpeaking it's #23 on airplay (added to the fact that it's nowhere to be seen on Airplay). Expect this to climb next week. Biffy Clyro are up 12 to #22 and further new entries come from Jay Sean's second single from his current album, Rihanna with her second US single Hard, and Alicia Keys is back in with her Multichart smash and second US single Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart. Let's finish off with some videos: Highest new entry at #17, Example - Won't Go Quietly -So9lXFt5rM New at #32, Jay Sean - Do You Remember a81eP2E8MEQ Another newcomer at #38, Rihanna - Hard Xcwd_Nz6Zog And a re-entry at #39 for Alicia Keys - Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart FXXy8pst-3o Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed the chart. Next week we'll be back with Peter presenting :) Have a good one!
January 25, 201015 yr Expected for Owl  I have a feeling it could be #1 on all three sub-charts this week, but maybe multichart #1 is a bit of an ask. Most likely it'll stay at #4 or move up to #3. It'll 100% certainly be sales #1 and airplay #1 is likely.
January 25, 201015 yr Author Np Theo :) And yes I think you're right B-Rye, but I think that Glee could actually prove a challenge - in this chart at least ^_^
January 25, 201015 yr Np Theo :) And yes I think you're right B-Rye, but I think that Glee could actually prove a challenge - in this chart at least ^_^ I doubt it. It'll linger in the top ten for a good while but I seriously doubt it will pose a challenge for the top positions. One thing I'm pretty sure about is with Jedward and Simon Cowell's Haiti song coming up, this chart will likely be significantly different to the official chart.
