i have decided to tr and get opinion on all kylie singles the games are great but we just get comments on songs voted for while the others are forgotten so in others wordslets give a personnel review of all kylie;s singles,i will post all my comments just after 11 o clock as i am watching big brother as i type this,if someone wants to start it off before then please feel free

 

please review each single in an individual post as eack review will have its own section then

well big brother is over so i will start on my views and thinking of the singles

 

starting off with

I SHOULD BE SO LUCKY

 

It was a great introduction to the pop world,it was a great 80's song that has stood the test of time and is played to this day in disco's and radio play,

 

I liked the song when it first came out and went off it for a long time but as i watched her concerts i started to get back into the song,ididnt like the fever tour performance of it but i liked the showgirl version and the live in dublin 1990 version,

 

Got to be certain

 

I loved it when i first heard it and to this day i think its one of the most underrated of her singles of the kylie album,yes it was a big enough hit but now a days its one of the forgotten ones and kylie has never perfomed it on th etours from intimate and live up until the present day,

 

It had a simple video and a catchy chorus especialy the more more more mooooooooooooooooooreeeeeeeeeeeeee bit in the middle

the loco motion

 

another great great pop song and for me 10 times better than the original ,the loco motion is the song that made me want the kylie album and really got me into her,she looks cute and innocent in the video,

 

i dont like the slow version she sometimes performs on tour at all but love the single version that got released,its a big kylie song and again is remembered to this day and often gets radio play and is again one of kylie's best known songs

 

again it was what really started kylie of in the music business in australia so maybe we have this song to thank for almost 20 fantastic years of music kylie

je ne sas pais pourquai

 

this was the first very different single kylie released as it wasnt on the same line as the previous three,this did take a while to grow on me but i did like it,loved the b side made in heaven which should have been a double a sided single,

 

didnt enjoy the video to much or kylie;s styling in it either as it wasnt in any way a sexy video,

 

 

especially for you

 

well it was her biggest duet hit but maybe not her best but at the time was huge and was whatthe public really really wanted as kylie and jason as a team were huge at this era,there was a stage i remember that i didnt think this would make number 1 and i was very happy wheni heard it had

 

at the time the video was great and that lead to a kiss was clever as it still kept the public wondering are they really a couple,in some ways this single should have been dedicated to scott and charlene

Hand on your heart

 

well it was a great introduction to the brilliant enjoy yourself album and of course a number 1 hit,i really liked this from the start and still do enjoy it and again its a well known kylie single,its a brilliant pop single but a terrible video that makes kylie look very simple,im not sure about the cover version done by jose gonzalez but its a classic pop single that kylie should be proud of

wouldnt change a thing

 

why this was released in irelad i dont know and have never found out the reasons for it,this is probably one of kylie's older singles that i forget about even though i like the song,its not in the same pop league as hand on your heart or i should be so lucky but its pleasant enough,i enjoyed the performance of it on an audience with kylie on itv a few years back,

Never too late

 

well it was the first kylie single not to make the uk top 2 which was sad as i think it was the best single of enjoy yourself album,i iloved kylie in the video and the sleeve of this single is still one of my faveourite kylie sleeves,its a great pop song but yet different style of pop to hand on your heart it was a tiny tiny bit edgier than hand on your heart,this should have been a uk number 1 and im very happy that it was an irish number 1 for kylie

 

it should have got some time on the showgirl tour

Tears On My Pillow

 

well its probably the only kylie single i will say didnt deserve number 1,it was a ok song but not in general my cup of tea i would have prefered never too late to have been a number 1 instead,however i think the film delinquents had alot to do with this getting to number 1,its one of kylie single that im happy that doesnt get played on the tours

Better the devil you know

 

well what can i say it really is a kylie classic that should have never ever ever been covered by steps as there version was atrocious,this single was a huge change for kylie and was a great move as it was classic pop in a new way,i was surprised it didnt make number 1 in the uk,ireland or australia as i remember well when this was out and it was the first time i actually heard alot of people saying they liked the new kylie minogue single,its great to see it still very well known to this day and is still played in some clubs,it is and will be one of kylie most remembered hits especially among her hardcore fans

step back in time

 

better the devil you know was a hard track to follow and follow it she did releasing this which was so different but yet so good,a new style altoegther for kylie in the video and had a 70's feel to the song it should have seen the uk top 3,thankfully it was a big enough hit but i dont really know if alot of the non hardcore kylie fans remember it

what do i have to do

 

this is one of my faveourite kylie video's as it was so different,this was the first kylie single in my own opinion was an edge near dance/club kylie as it wasnt a light pop track,its a forgotten kylie song in some terms but a strong single that should have done better and cahrted higher,yes it was a hit but i thought would have done better

shocked

 

this is and always one of the few kylie singles that i couldnt figure out what i really thought of it,and i still dont know either so i wont say much as i dont know really know what to comment about it

word is out

 

the most underrated saw kylie track i love this song and always have and why it didnt do better i dont know,it was catchy in a diiferent way to others but brilliant,i heard some time back that kylie was re recording this and releasing it as a single,i heard that before ultimate kylie was released,i think it should be re released as it would make the top 10 like it deserves

if you were with me now

 

the duet that returned kylie back to the top 5 after missing the top 10 for the first time with word is out,nice song that did quite well and in truth was a much better song than especially for you,it was a mature duet that was a great love song

give me just a little more time

 

one of kylie's waeker singles that was a little fluffy,nice song but nothing stand out about it in general,i was surprised it did so well

Finer feelings

 

the 2nd single to miss the top 10 for kylie and with finer feeling i understood why as it wasnt a great single choice at all,never really took in this song and i hate the sleeve for the single also

celebration

 

well its an okay song just like the original,in a way i think saw should have given kylie a far stronger track as a final single with them rather than an easy cover,i really likes the performace of celebration on the live in sydney tour she really breathed life into the song on that tour in the megamix section of that tour

right bye bye saw and hello de construction

 

confide in me

 

well gutted was my feeling on hearing this,i thought oh my god what the hell is this,then after afew listens i though well maybe this is getting better,the video was so so different to all the previous kylie video's ,the reviews were also very good and then i convinced myself kylie would get to number 1 with this and again gutted number 2 behing the ever running number 1 love is all around by wet wet wet,would rate in the lower end of my faveourite kylie singles but is pleasant enough in certain moods
