again like word is out it should not be one of the kylie songs to miss the top 10,this was a sophisticated kylie release and was a very different song again,and was the best single of the kylie minogue 94 album,the single may not have been a top 10 which i was disappointed with when i saw a number 17 debut but i was pleasantly surprised to see it climb to number 11 the following week which was great as at that time climbing the chart wasnt all that common

where is the feeling

 

the only kylie single i can honestly say i hate,why it was released puzzles me yetmit was a flop,3 weeks on the top 75,and they could and should have picked a different track than this to release,the most forgettable kylie single ever and will probably be always the most forgettable in my book

where the wild roses grow

 

the best kylie duet to date,a brilliant brilliant song with a brilliant video,the song that surprised so many,no one expected kylie to be ever part of a track like this,it wasnt to big a hit in the uk but still nick caves biggest hit but it did very well here in ireland,the song kylie says she couldnt imagine her career without and rightly so,for me a classic kylie single that i dearly love,

some kind of bliss

 

although probably not a fan faveourite i do like this track but deteste the sleeve for the single,im a fan of the manic street preachers and some kind of bliss had a feel of them in it which is understandable as in who wrote it,it should have done better but kylie is liked for her pop music and this wasnt a pop track

not quite as good as some kind of bliss but had a far better video and is what i call a very clever kylie video as it was about her own career,again it didnt do very well and probably not a huge faveourite in kylie fans but i like it,all the singles of impossible princess were very different but i like all of them but in a different way to her other singles,all kylies other singles taht i loe i listen to when im in pop mood,when im in a keane,manic street preachers,gorillaz etc mood i listen to this album

breathe

 

to me breathe and put yourself in my place sound quite similar but breathe doesnt seem as popular among kylie fans and obviously didnt do as well either,i like it in the same way i like put yourself in my place and again like all the singles on impossible princess should have done alot better and the album likewise

now i wrote a piece on what kind of fool heard all that before but it doesnt appear here so what i did i dont know so i send it again

although classed as a weak kylie single among many kylie fans i like this alot,its very pop just like hand on your heart is very popy,i like the kylie pose on the sleeve also,i think this single didnt do aswell as it could have was kylie waas begginning to fade as the lets get to it album didnt do as well as others and poeple were tired of the saw kylie

now bye bye to the least successfull kylie era at de construction and a huge hello to the mega kylie at parlophone

Spinning around

 

the song that brought the nations attention to what an amzing ASS our little kylie has and loveley ass she has indeed,now the song,this is from the ever brilliant light years album,i like spinning around but its my least faveourite track on this mega album,its a catchy pop song and a real grower and im surprised she never worked with paula abdul again considering that this track returned her to number 1 after a 10 years gap and also returned kylie to mega status,the video helped alot in this single doing so well,but i love the song for what it has done for kylie's career,no one expected kylie to get number 1 with this as all eyes were on girl thing who limped in at number 8

On a night like this

 

very different from spinning around but in my own opinion its a lot better of a track,the video is great to and a great video for the straight kylie fans,this was a far bigger hit in australia and i would have liked it to have done equally as well in the uk,it didnt make the top 10 here in ireland which pissed me of,but its a great track that i know i will still enjoy in years to come

now tosay i was disappointed that this didnt make number 1 is an understatement,how could it not make number 1 i thought,robbie was huge kylie was becoming huge and they do a duet with a great song that appealed to both sets of fans with a glossy video,well u2 release the same week and its another number 2 to the the ever growing number 2 collection for kylie,its my second faveourite duet after where the wild roses grow and i think kylie done a brilliantjob of the song on the live in sydney concert without robbie,i still enjoy the song and like many kylie singles i will do in years to come also

well this has been deated alot in other threads,but as i said i do like the song and it did well considering the style of song it was released at the christmas market,its a summer song and a happy song,but maybe would have been better as an album track allowing disco down,butterfly or under the influence of love to have been released instead

lights years was such a brilliant album that it could have spawned so many great singles,its a pop classic album that really kept me a happy kylie fan when i heard it

on on to the fever era and the biggest selling album of kylies career to date but before that im going to comment on the following

well although not kylie uk singles they were released in some parts so will will make my comments on them

a minor hit in america and has a video that we saw on the greatest hits dvd relaese some time back,its a goo dtrack that had it been released i think would have done as well as the singles that were released of the kylie album,kylie album had basic general pop songs which at the time was a great album ,now adays some of the tracks are highly dated but this isnt as dated as some of th etracks on the album

this could be classed as chessy in soe terms but its one of the songs of the kylie album that sounds very dated and is high saw stuff,it in its day was a brilliant pop song and stronger than its no secret in its day and again had it been chosen as a single it would have charted as well as those picked

your disco needs you

 

well i think this could have been a real treat for the gay fans as it is one of kylie's campest songs ever,yes its fun i know and i like the song but i never got into the song as much as others did as it was hyped up no end by kylie fans,i was surprised reading kylie fans were begging for this to be a single as i didnt thnk it was that strong,however this campaign i believe lead to the limited release it got in aussie,the video has to be the worst ever video by kylie but i think it was a cheap budget thrown together for a sake of having ai video for this song

i dontthink this would ave done so well in the uk considering the 3 actual singles released of impossible princess didnt set the chart on fire so maybe it was a great choice to stay with 3 releases for this album,it didnt chart well in aussie and i dontthink there was much heart behind this single as it didnt even get a video bar the performnace of it of intimate and live,i like the cover sleev but i think i have a thing for kylie and hats in cover sleeves,never to late as i mentioned earlier had kylie with a cowboy hat also

well what can be said a huge huge hit,i knew this would be big when i heard it as the la la la part was very stay in your head,again the video was mega that got the attention also,what really surprised me by this was its huge first week sales it sold over 300,000 in its first week which is mega as if you take out singles from pop idol winners etc this would be high on the list of biggest ever first week sales,

the song is a pop and classic kylie song that is going to be played for years and years to come,it will be covered by someone im sure in years to come also,but i ahve to say i was wuie impressed by coldplays live cover of this brilliant pop song

in your eyes

 

well following up such a huge huge hit like cant get you out of my head was always going to be hard but in your eyes did it,i think it was affevted in chart terms by cant get ..as that was still selling on the time of in your eyes release plus kylie had done a mega performance of in chyuomh at the brits which put more interest back in the song and kid of over shadowed in your eyes which in its own right wasanother brilliant single by kylie and like its predacessor was a sophisticated pop song which was cut above other chea pbubblegum pop records been released y other artists,however i have never made my mind up on what i think of the in your eyes video
