Jx are re releasing restless which was only a minor hit back in the 00's, i really liked their stuff back in the day and hope they can have a hit with this

 

Does anyone know did JX ever release an album?

JX were great, a small string of hits, but a GREAT small string none the less.

 

"Restless" was a great track, could've been a bigger hit at the time but by that time dance music was on its knees commercially. It's not fitting with whats current chartwise, can't see why it would come anywhere near close to charting where it did back then. They never released an album either, though producer Jake Williams is currently known as techy-house producer Rex The Dog.

Most probably been electrofied, like most trance re-releases these days.

What a shame Jx didnt do an album as they had a few singles so werent that short of material to complete an album, i checked out Rex the dog material its a bit catchy but not a patch on his JX work, i agree restless probbaly wont do that well this time round at all either but i suppose i will live in hope until its released. Son of a gun would have probably made a better re release at the moment and if that had happened and charted it may have built up more commercial interest in restless.

Yah I remember this hitting top 20 cant see it happening again tho

Im looking forward to hearing the new version tho to see what it sounds like.

I bought the You Belong to Me single back in the day

I bought all the singles when released although son of a gun i bought when it was re released and i still have all their cd singles.

by the way, Restless was a top20 hit, and in the mid-00s.

There's Nothing I Won't Do is one of my favourite 90's dance songs :wub: I wasn't so keen on Son of A Gun...

 

loved the original of Restless, hope it's not made into an electro song now...

Theres nothing i wont do and son of a gun were my clear faves by JX although i slightly prefer sun of a gun.

I have a feeling this is gonna flop hard, its getting no radio support, video support etc, id love it to even make the top 100 but i cant see it happening now.

Does anyone know if this charted in the top 200 last week?
