Posted January 31, 201015 yr A bit #2000andlate, but I've noticed that this hasn't been posted in here. Anyway, Girls Aloud finished FIFTH on the singles albums of the 2000s and FOURTY-FIRST on the albums artists of the 2000s. 01 EMINEM 4,592,127 (not including a further 563,130 as a featured artist, and not including a further 723,240 with D12) 02 WESTLIFE 4,551,712 03 BRITNEY SPEARS 04 BLACK EYED PEAS 4,224,350 05 GIRLS ALOUD39 BLACK EYED PEAS 40 FOO FIGHTERS 41 GIRLS ALOUD 42 ANASTACIA 43 KATIE MELUA 44 ELTON JOHN 45 TRAVIS 46 PINK FLOYD 47 ABBA 48 LEONA LEWIS Source; Music Week Quite an achievement coming fifth on singles, I'd NEVER have expected that! :o And 3 of the above artists had 2 more years of success before Girls Aloud were born! :o The albums, although low, is quite pleasing, as they beat Leona's massive sales, and came close to Black Eyed Peas, who've had 3 consecutive million-selling albums! :o Edited January 31, 201015 yr by Theryl Cole
