I don't think they'd kill off

Graham. Although he has become so totally boring since he took up with Tina that maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea.

Apparently it is going to be discovered (at some point in the future) that

David suffers from some sort of epilepsy - which could account for all the 'odd' things he's done since he's been out of his teens.

If they do this ... I think its just a cop out so that they can turn

David from the little git he is into some sort of saint

.

Aww Jack. :( I never watch Corrie, but that was a completely fitting ending. Both my parents cried their eyes out!

I was dreading watching tonight! Nearly as upsetting as when Norma in The Royle Family died!

Bye Bye Jack!

Kath

Quite a touching ending! Almost welled up which is a feat aas my tear ducts have been inactive in over a year. :)
Oh my I welled up when him and Vera was dancing :(
The ending was pretty much what i expected as from i read jacks exit would have similar traits to Vera's (dying alone in the arm chair in the house he loved) it was a good ending for the charactor but i think my favourite part of his exit was the camera work which was done brilliantly.

I loved the eastenders and coronation street combination on cin tonight, the charactors didnt look out of place of neither soap i have to say, i loved how excited helen worth was about visiting albert square.

I loved that too! It was so funny to see with Denise and Gail trying to outdo eachother over who's husband was the worse serial killer!

And did Ellien Grimshaw give a clue as to who dies in the tram crash?

Ya Denise and Gail were hilarious and yes i though the same thing about Eileen but i hope its not true as she is one of the few corrie charactors i really like.
I'm no Corrie fan, and I only just about meet the tag of "occasional casual viewer". But I have to say the tram crash week really does look like it will be absolutely WONDERFUL and reclaim 2010 from Eastenders.

The trailers are an absolute triumph of editing. Just hope the episode lives up to these trailers. If it does ... it will knock EE into the next decade.

One week of eventful episodes does not claim a whole year I am AFRAID. EastEnders has had the live, high Masood drama, a STAX two hander and a considerable improvement in everyday episodes.

Loads of folk I know haven't even bothered watching EE lately though (and they are fans). EE is just a tiny bit boring at the moment. They may have grit down to a fine art ... but they miss the comedy bulls-eye by a mile ... when Corrie does it without even trying.

Message to EE - Get rid of Dot!

Kath

Yes, yes, we know, you hate Dot.

Actually the one thing EE has consistently got RIGHT this year is the comedy. Since Bryan Kirkwood took over they've found a great balance of character-true comedy that compliments the grittier storylines, whereas certain big reveals and pay off episodes have been disappointing given how high expectations were.

I think you personally are never going to find it funny and I don't understand that but I respect it. Each to their own. Personally I find Corrie depressing because everybody in it is so low-rent (Carla Connor aside, someone needs to ship her into EastEnders pronto).
