Some great news. Robbie will release another Greatest Hits album in the autumn to celebrate 20 years in the business, which will complete his contract with EMI. :D :D

Elio Leoni-Sceti, the Italian chief executive, is also scrambling to hang on to EMI’s biggest star, Robbie Williams, whose contract runs out this autumn when he releases a greatest hits album to mark his 20 years in showbusiness.

So seeing as it to celebrate his career, it will not be a continuation from the last one, but will most likely be a 2disc collection with all of his singles on it. Let's hope there is a DVD as well with the videos. And now we know why he didnt tour RKTVS, he knew he would be doing a tour for this next year. What great news.

My prediction on the tracklist. It will prob include a few of the singles left off the last one, can't see it including Freedom though.

!! Ooh, fantastic! :D I really hope that there are some new tracks - weren't Radio and Misunderstood from his last GH? Also, how do you know he's touring RKTVS? Didn't see that anywhere in the article.

Well he said that there will definatly be a tour in 2011, so that fits in perfectly with the new GH. A tour with all the hits celebrating 20 years. Only problem though is that 5 of those 20 years were with TT, so there is bound to be some involvment. I just hope no TT tracks appear on the album, like the way George Michael did with his 25 year GH album including some Wham material. The last thing I want is Could It Be Magic making an appearance.

Aha, I see. I think that TT hits are inevitable, and also that a tour with a few guest appearances from the other lads would give it something special. However, I suspect he won't end up doing much/anything with TT because he's got two albums to be promoting (new GH and RKTVS) and touring hit 'old hits' hardly makes him seem very relevent and could hurt sales for RKTVS.

Whatever happens, yay for tour and album! :P But I don't think I want Robbie joining TT again - maybe for a few shows, but nothing more than that.

I wouldn't mind Everything Changes though

Fabulous news, pity we have to wait for another year but heyy.............What's another year, innit !!

Will I ever get my B-sides album? :(

Maybe there will be a mega-deluxe 4 disc box set

Wow, now that would be something to look forward to, and at a mega price too

And an illustrated book too of course. With loads of chest photos :teresa:

I'm thinking there will be a cover of Back For Good on it somewhere

Also I hope there are a couple of great new songs on this one :D

Can't see a cover of Back For Good, as his brilliant rock rendition was really a p*** take and now he is mates with them again I cant see that being on it  The album will prob be titled something like '20 Years Of Hits: 1990-2010', and if that is the case I suppose it might include Could It Be Magic and Everything Changes. He sang lead on another single as well which was so forgettable the name or even the way it goes escapes me  I agree though Nicky, I wouldnt be too annoyed if EC was thrown in if needs be but I could never stand Could It Be Magic, their version or Barry bloody Manilow's so I don't want it anywhere near such an album. Horrid track in my view. I still find it unlikely any TT tracks will feature though due to EMI having to not only pay Sony but then Gary Barlow, Barry Manilow or whatever record company he is with. They are in such debt at the moment any idea that involved them having to pay out money wouldnt be suitable.

I also don't want him leaving out any singles apart from maybe Freedom due to his dislike of the track. The tracklist I posted would be fine with me.

I'm PRAYING for a Greatest Hits DVD release of his videos!!! It would be nice to see them on something bigger than my computer screen. :(
And a B-sides album. Don't forget the B-sides :cheer:

I hope the GH Pt 2 contains some new tracks , a book with pics on Robbies 20 year career & a DVD ..... <_<

I doubt it will happen though , who is going to pay for it with EMI being broke B)

although his first GH left me a little bit cold because there weren´t some of his singles there, I don´t think is a good idea to have another GH released, it´s too soon.I think he needs at least another album before another GH makes sense

I agree but he has to release another GH to complete his contract. I guess we should just be grateful that planned second Swing album never saw the light of day. :D

I also think its too soon to have another greatest hits, but if he puts all the singles on it this time with 2 new tracks it will be fairly different from the first greatest hits, it will still do well though although not sell as much as the first greatest hits i think.
