Hey there and welcome to this week's Official Buzzjack Hot 40, the chart made up of sales, airplay and the all-important multichart, giving an all round accurate view of the tunes Buzzjackers, and indeed the rest of the country, have been enjoying this week. Owl City could get their third week at number 1 this week, but there are strong challengers from Timbaland and Jedward. So let's check it out!

Asterisks denote bullets, given to songs that have increased in pointage and are generally on their way "up" the chart.

So Owl City stick to #1 like flypaper by topping the sales and airplay lists, and having broken the top 3 on the multichart. A big climb to number 2 from Timbaland and Katy Perry, who don't do as well on airplay as well as multichart and sales, but that could change next week. Likewise Example gets a new peak at #9 due to a six place climb on airplay

Outside the top 10, our highest climber comes from Marina Diamandis aka Marina and The Diamonds (another pretend band like Florence & The Machine) who better their current sales position by 1 at #11 despite little airplay, mostly because it's this week's surprise #1 on the multichart. Jedward get the highest new entry at #18 with their current sales #2, multichart #27, and airplay number nothing :kink: Under Pressure. Ke$ha is at #19 with her new single despite lacking airplay too. Sugababes climb 12 to #26 just on airplay and multichart, and Black Eyed Peas non-mover at #34 with I Gotta Feeling means that they have beaten the record of Lady Gaga's Poker Face spending 31 weeks on the Hot 40. Further new entries come from Helping Haiti at #35 just on airplay, Gabriela Cilmi at #38 on airplay and sales, Glee Cast at #39 with Somebody To Love on sales and multichart, and Ellie Goulding at #40 with her second single Starry Eyed.

Let's finish off with some videos:

Highest new entry at #18, Jedward - Ice Ice Baby

Up to #26, Sugababes - Wear My Kiss

Next week's #1? Helping Haiti - Everybody Hurts

And another big future hit, new at #40 Ellie Goulding - Starry Eyed

Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed the chart. Next week we'll be back with Peter presenting :) Have a good one!

It's gonna be tight with Owl and Timbaland next week!

On sales, Owl and Timbo will be 2 and 3, probably respectively but a slight possibility of it being the other way round.

On airplay, Owl should fall to #2 or #3 behind JLS and maybe Helping Haiti, but there might be a chance of staying #1, and I'm sure Timbo will get a big rise as well.

On the multichart, Timbo will probably overtake Owl City, and they'll both be top 5, but who knows?

We'll find out on Sunday I guess

I suppose HH could be another contender, but I doubt they'll get a good enough position on the Multichart even though they have a chance at #1 on sales (100% certain) and airplay (quite likely).

I think I prefer this one to official one...that's why I like Billboard...popularity doesn't mean only if it sells.

Thanks Bray and Addy :) I agree, popularity is not only about sales. Whether this chart would be accepted for the whole UK I'm not sure, but I think it represents Buzzjack pretty well
