Everyone has to start somewhere. I used to think MC Hammer was great. When Busted came along I always thought "ok, they're crap, but at least kids will get into guitar bands when they get older if they start with these guys". Fall Out Boy is just the next step up from them...call this a good thing.

To be fair, the audience of this should be made up of anyone who bought Killing in the Name last year as it was them who really got the band to number one. Did diehard fans download the song? Why would you, you've already got it right?

Ok fair enough on the second point. although obviously the die hard fans would download it again to help it get to number 1.

as for everyone starts somewhere, I was listening to Rage when I was 14, I think that's a bit different who is 18 and bums FOB and only likes Rage to jump the bandwagon. just saying the ticket could of gone to my mate who brought KITN a stupid amount of times at Christmas and has been listening to Rage for years and years.

Facebook have totally fukked up my info though (and, from what I can tell just about everyone else's), I'm having to input all the stuff that I originally put up in my Info page when I signed up to FB, all the films and books and most of the bands I listed have disappeared during FB's latest "upgrade"... Wondering if it's really worth my while to put it up again when in all likelihood the buggers will mess it all again up during the next "upgrade".... -_-

yeah that upgrade was a bit $h!t. Facebook is just a load of $h!t really anyway, I only use it as society forces me to.

Ah, ok, I didn't read that she was at college - yes, a little old to be listening to kiddy rock! Still, I'll still celebrate those who applied for tickets with a view to going. The real villains will be those who applied only to sell them on...which will be around 20% at least I'll bet :(

they can have fun trying to sell them on, the tickets are photo ID with name and addresses on them. f*** the touts.

Tomorrow! :cheer: I'm excited by crushing bandwagon jumpers, can they take THIS:

was not too many bandwagoners. i'm aching. insane crowd.
Opening with Testify meant the crowd got going straight away! A few people were running back looking really scared  Some people just don't understand that it was the kind of crowd that look out for each other (I slipped a couple of times and someone caught me and lifted me up both times) I ended up right near the front as well! I have bruises on my shins, on my left shoulder, have a few aches and pains and lovin' it! Got four hours sleep and still did two people's jobs today as well :P
i saw a fair few teary eyed people trying to escape, this one girl went mental like 'can people just let me out' yes that is going to work when your deep into a Rage crowd during Bombtrack.

Me and my mates were quite far back (couldn't get anywhere near the front), but it was pretty damn mental even where we were.... As far as "mental girl" goes, you know it's like, sorry, but if you dont wanna get caught up in a mosh pit or break your nails, get your hair messed up with beer, or whatever, what the fukk you even doing at the gig, DO YOU ACTUALLY KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE NATURE OF THE GIG YOU ARE ATTENDING...? I basically got a shower of beer, and, weirdly it actually made my hair feel softer....

Ironically (and annoyingly) though, at the same time we were bouncing ourselves silly, Simon "the c**t" Cowell was being "honoured" by BAFTA....... <_<

yeah bandwagoners or not, doesnt take an idiot to know what a rage against the machine gig is gonna be like, if you dont want to be in a crowd like that you should definatly not be as far forward as some people who were attempting to get out were, just plain stupid of them really. its not like being at the front of a f***ing coldplay gig.

i quite like how simon cowell was getting a bafta while 40,000 people were at a gig that made a mockery of him, a fair few 'f*** simon cowell' chants, and of course the introduction. and t-shirts Rage: 1 Cowell: 0. at one point i let someone pass me in the crowd and they go 'cheers. simon cowell's a c**t'.
