ROBBIE WILLIAMS' fiancée AYDA FIELD has put him on a strict fitness drive ahead of their wedding.

She has made the singer hire a trainer - who has Rob back playing football plus doing weights and cardio work.

A pal revealed: "Robbie is training hard. He is enjoying it and wants to do Ayda proud. She's putting pressure on him to shape up and set a wedding date."

Actress Ayda, at Rob's LA pad with him, is all broody babysitting the trainer's tot while the lads work out.

The source added: "Her clock is ticking, she's all maternal."

Ayda clearly wears the trousers in this relationship.

Peter Andre and Robbie Williams bonded over UFO's

STV.TV

Peter Andre has revealed that he enjoyed meeting Robbie Williams backstage at this year's Brit Awards. The Aussie singer said that the two struck up a friendship over their interest in aliens.

Andre reported from this year's ceremony covering the rehersals, the show and backstage interviews.

He wrote in his new! magazine column: "We had a hilarious chat about our mutual obsession with UFOs."

Peter added that the former Take That singer left a positive impression on him.

He said: "It was good to see him and, as far as I'm concerned, the guy is a legend.

"He's in a good place and I really look up to him. We talked about our careers."

Meanwhile, Robbie is set to organise the third Soccer Aid event later this year.

It is to be hosted by The X Factor's Dermot O'Leary instead of its usual presenters Ant and Dec who are busy filming Britain's Got Talent and Push The Button.

Soccer Aid will take place at Manchester United's Old Trafford ground in June, according to The Sun.

It has been rumoured that former footballers Alan Shearer and Zinedine Zidane are to take part.

Previously celebs including Angus Deayton, Jamie Theakston, Gordon Ramsay and Danny Jones played in the England vs Rest Of The World matches.

AYDA GIVES ROB SMOKE SIGNALS

The Sun.co.uk

ROBBIE WILLIAMS has finally crumbled to pressure and slashed his cigarette intake to keep on the good side of his missus.

The Brit winner used to power through a whopping 60 smokes a day. But now he's down to just ten - and hoping to stub out his habit completely.

Fiancée AYDA FIELD has even banned the hitmaker from sparking up indoors.

And as I revealed yesterday, she has also put Robbie on a strict fitness drive ahead of their wedding.

A source said: "Ayda is very keen to start a family and knows the damage tobacco can do to sperm.

"It's hard for Rob to say no to the woman he loves at the best of times.

"But it's even harder when, far from nagging him about smoking, she gives practical support and offers to be there for him when he's finding it tough.

"He has promised Ayda he will crack it.

"Now it's just a matter of when he's ready."

Good lad

The damage tobacco can do to sperm

Do they develop bad coughs?

As proud as I am of Robbie for trying to quit, I think he's TOADALLY sexy when he smokes.

I'm glad he's trying to quit. All that puff puffing can't be good for the voice. -_-

Nikon unveils pan-European ad campaign themed "I am Nikon"

Nikon campaign

Nikon is launching a pan-European advertising campaign, called “I am Nikon”, which aims to connect the brand’s heritage of professionalism, authenticity and innovation to an audience of aspiring photographers.

The campaign will appear throughout Europe and South Africa, with the first TV ad airing on UK television over the Easter weekend from 2 to 5 April 2010 on ITV, Channel Four and Channel Five.

The “I am” campaign will roll out in television, print, outdoor and online formats and will be supported by a dedicated website as well as social media channels to encourage consumer interaction.

Created by Jung von Matt/Spree, this is the first campaign that the agency has produced since their appointment as Nikon Europe’s retained advertising agency in September 2009.

The campaign plays on Nikon’s existing tagline ‘At the heart of the image’ and includes real-life scenarios in which people show who they are with a Nikon camera.

Various pop culture and historic moments are referenced in the spot, including a scene depicting a baby’s real first steps similar to the historic first walk on the Moon. This scene shows the moment a baby takes its first steps and was created using actual footage recorded on a Nikon D5000 camera.

Other footage shown includes Robbie Williams turning his camera on the crowd at his concert, ‘I am Cinderella’, for which a Spanish bride who allowed her final pre-wedding preparations to be filmed for the campaign, ‘I am Here’, showing holidaymakers exploring the Egyptian pyramids, and ‘I am Part of the World’, featuring people from across the globe interacting with each other using the internet and their Nikon cameras.

The campaign also focuses on Nikon’s new range of Coolpix cameras, including the S8000 and S3000, incorporating taglines such as ‘I am a Super Zoomer’ and ‘I am Attractive’ to help communicate the products’ key features and benefits to customers.

Birgitta Olson, general manager of marketing communications at Nikon Europe, says: “We hope this campaign will help to extend the legacy of the Nikon brand to a wider European audience. By reminding our customers that they too are at the heart of the image, we hope to ignite a new understanding of photography – one where anyone can express themselves, regardless of their photography experience.”

Julia Peuckert, planning director at Jung von Matt, adds: “We feel that this campaign really gets to the core of how photography is used today: in a playful, social and self-expressing way. By using real people in real situations we hope our audience will recognise itself and will feel inspired by Nikon.”

Robbie Williams backs COOLPIX

(UKPA) – 10 hours ago

Pop singer Robbie Williams turns his digital camera on the crowds in a new advert for Nikon's COOLPIX cameras.

The Angels singer features in the new I AM NIKON campaign with footage of him performing on stage. The singer whips out his COOLPIX to take a few snaps of his fans with the statement 'I am alive'.

The series of television ads, which premiere over Easter weekend, are aimed at bringing professional photo techniques to a wider audience of amateur snappers.

Birgitta Olson, Nikon's marketing manager said: "We feel that this campaign really gets to the core of what it means to be a Nikon photographer.

"By using real people in real situations - regardless of photography experience, ethnicity, circumstances or geography - we hope to remind our audience that they are at the heart of the image."

The Nikon Coolpix range is the manufacturer's point-and-shoot range from the lightweight and colourful S4000, to the top-of-the-range P100 - which boasts a 26x zoom and high-definition video recording.

Oooooh I like it :cheer:

Wonder how much he's been paid for allowing that footage to be used....

I've had a drink problem for ten years - but Robbie is helping me through it, says Take That love cheat Mark Owen

Daily Mail

  • Former alcoholic bandmate Williams helping him to get back on his feet
  • Admits he was a heavy cannabis user and still smokes joints
Mark Owen has opened up about the slide towards alcoholism that has secretly plagued him for a decade.

As he held crisis talks with wife Emma following revelations he'd cheated on her with ten women, the Take That star, 38, admitted his battle with the bottle had caused him to be 'a prat'.

He told of a drinking problem that took hold when he moved to the Lake District when the boy band split in the 90s, but said he wasn't blaming alcohol for causing his philandering.

I am not using the drink as an excuse,' he told The Sun.

'I've been living with the guilt. Maybe the drink was my way of dealing with the guilt, I don't know... it hasn't helped, but I'm not blaming everything on it.

'His 33-year-old wife had demanded he get help, and Owen has sought professional therapy as well as the support of his bandmates Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Jason Orange.

Former Take That singer Robbie Williams, no stranger himself to alcoholism, has also spoken to Owen.

He said: 'I told the lads a few weeks ago that I am trying to deal with a drink problem. I spoke to Rob about it, too. I've always tried not to involve anyone else, including the boys. Maybe the lads might have suspected sometimes.'
