Because of the preparations for BJSC, and a period of anti-holiday in the country where everyone is at work and is not allowed any extra-curricular activites (whidh is done so that Uike Gordé (Golden Week, a week or national holidays, traditionally in May but moved to this July) it has been difficult to organise a national final for BJSCXXVII. Therefore the decision has been taken to make another internal selection, and hopefully return to the national final format next contest. Rumour has it, one of these three songs will be picked just before the confirmation deadline on Monday:

 

Nicola Fasano Feat. Ultra Nate - No Wasted Hearts

 

Furiku Feat. Mick Karn - Knights Of The Opium Moon

 

Brandon Flowers - Crossfire

 

Stefanie Heinzmann Feat. Gentleman - Roots To Grow

 

Although this will be a national selection, we would be very interested to hear your opinions on these songs... Sanque-tes!

Know a couple of thse already from your PM's :P These marks are at this moment in time and could rise (or fall)

 

No Wasted Hearts - good, as good as her other BJSC entry, which I can't recall the name of but I know I voted for it :wub: 8.5/10

 

Knights Of The Opium Moon - This would be very different for BJSC, I like 8.5/10

 

Crossfire - It's quite good, I loved the last Killers album but I wasn't a fan beforehand. This is more indie than the dancier Day & Age. 7.5/10

 

Roots To Grow - Catchy and nice, but I don't LOVE it...very good though and could get small points 8/10
