Kerry Ellis - You Have To Be There - It's live and she has a very good voice so this is automatically in the contention for points. The song isn't bad, either so I'd say this would have some good chances. :kink:

Francoise Hardy - Noir Sur Blanc - OMG, this is even better. And I love French. I would have never expected so many great entries (or considered entries at least) some months ago when you were sending such crap (IMO :P) as Alphabeat and Alcazar.

You definitely have a thing about live music  Cool. I'm wondering if I can't DNQ if Francoise would be a nice one to send... if my top 2 choices get banned that is :arrr: Thanks Zechhh

I LOVE live music.

Mainly because you can see if the artist can actually sing or if his voice is just made too sound good in the studio.

Yeah, I get what you're saying, but for me it doesn't matter too much, as long as it sounds good in the here and now.
Yeah, I enjoy a Katy Perry or Britney Spears song here and there as well but it just leaves a bad taste knowing that they actually can't sing all that well (IMO :P).

You would love it in Camden  I agree if you're a good live performer it helps, but it doesn't stop me enjoying someone.

Yeah but only becasue my two top choices are going to be taken away from me in just over half an hour... :snif:

What is Camden? :o

Camden is a part of London where everyone is uber-trendy and every other person you meet is in an indie band. It's pretty cool actually. I'm just saying you'd fit in perfect

Sounds good. :P

Although London is far too full for me. I was there for one week with my class some years ago (at the "Shakespeare Hotel", no idea where exactly that was) and that was already enough. I live in a 25,000 people city, btw.

Well I know what you mean. I've never heard of the Shakespeare Hotel, unless it's near the Globe Theatre (Shakespeare's theatre, although it depends how long ago). Some parts of London are crazy busy, espeically at rush hour. But I live in a part that feels like a village, even though it's only 30 minutes from the West End/central London

Sounds good. :P

is that city :P

Well, at least the german word for it.

Anything with more than 10,000 people is called city. Below that and it's a village. :P

In English, it's supposedly that a City has a cathedral  25,000 people sounds like a town to me I agree, there's 3 million in London

:) but here 25k is village, even though Kosovo have only 2.5 million people.

I guess Germany is messed up. :P

Or we just want to sound bigger than we actually are by having so many cities.

but I bet you'd like their last album The Visitors? It's a concept album about the cold war... seriously

One of my favourite albums of all time!

Hmm, well I'm going down the electro route for my debut, but you should so enter that Music Go Music song. I love it  . It's like a melange of Waterloo and He Is Your Brother!
