The massive US hit from Lil' Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Lloyd and co is finally hitting the UK so I think we need a topic. Really breezy song. Perfect for summer!

Absolute tune.

I'm a bit bored of it, as i've played it so much over the past few weeks and the clubs and stuff are just starting to hit onto the track. But ohh it's such a tune!

It's not half as bad as most of BuzzJack predictably make it out to be. Quite like it actually, love Nicki Minaj on it especially. <3
I love Nicki's verse sooo much. Oh, and I've heard that she is releasing her debut album this year. And from what I've heard, there's some big producers/writers involved.

Anything song that's not sung by a female and either features rapping, or guitars is hated by the BuzzJack Mass... predictably. I have no idea why. This song is so good on so many levels. I love the lyrics, and there are some awesome verses spitted down by some of the artists, especially Drake's. Everyone I know loves the song.

Yeah I've loved her on this and 'Up Out My Face'. Really can't wait to see what she comes out with! :D

Sean Garrett produced the lead single which is to premier this month!

Nicki goes hard on this! Her verse, along with Weezy's & Gudda's are the best for me. Great tune, with an amazing hook.

The Young Money album is quite solid. There are a a few filler tracks, with lack of flow, and the production is pretty standard, but it's grown on me as a whole. "Roger That" is killer, with a great accompanying video.

This is an absolute tune.

Surprised there hasn't been a thread about it already really! I like a lot of tracks on the Young Money album, such an amazing collection of people on one record. Srsly can't wait for Drake and Nicki's debut solo albums.

:nono: I'm going to have to disagree with you guys on this... I think this is one of the most dire songs I've heard so far this year! I'm actually surprised that so many people like it! I just don't think its catchy at all. The lyrics sound like they've been written by a 4-year-old, particularly the chorus.

I do like Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj though. Not too fond of the others.

Some sweeping generalisations going on in here :heehee: I'm really not a fan of this, not because it's 'not typical BuzzJack', I'm a big fan of a lot of rap, and listen to as much male as female music these days, I just simply don't like it. I like the bassline - it's infectious, but I just think a lot more could have been done over the top of it. I expect somebody will sample it in a few years in time and do something different with it, and I'll love it but it seems like a rap free for all at the moment, and the only particularly memorable bit for me is 'call me Mr Flintstone, I can make your bedrock'.

Well that is the chorus :heehee: Rap songs tend not to have particularly memorable verses do they?

oh  I thought it was just the hook - doesn't seem long enough for a chorus.

If I get really into a rap song, which is surprisingly often nowadays, I tend to remember every word to it including the verses.

This has been slowly growing on me. I have to admit to really being pig ignorant here as I thought Young Money was just one raper and that Lil Wayne and the girl were featured artists - shows how much I know  :(

I agree. I'm not coming into this thread just to bash the song but I'm saying that on the odd occasion I've expressed dislike for this anywhere I've had one or two people reply straight afterwards effectively with "well you're part of the buzzjack massive who only like things which are sung by a female singer", which is actually quite damn far from the case. -_-
