The chorus was lipped, otherwise I was impressed.

Amazing performance, and I'm very pleased she didn't mime, as I most certainly thought she would! Slight slip-up in the choreography, but other than that, it was fantastic. :wub:

I just saw it, and I totally agree, Cheryl was looking amazing.

We can hear her breathe, maybe it wasn't mimed, but like outlook writed if it wasn't mimed it was her best vocal performance. I'm confused :thinking:

She sang to backing vocals in the chorus (you can hear her doing a lower harmony, and then going into the actual chorus) but there are definitely backing vocals. But the verses were live, you can hear her breathing, and then you can hear the occasional bum note, but it was definitely live.

breaths can be added (or rather not removed), and bum notes can be kept in the pre-record. I think it was mimed as her voice doesn't really change throughout the song as she gets out of breath and thrown around

 

although the dancing was much reduced from CCNI so it would be possible

 

I know I am a cheryl fan but it sounded TOO good for her!

 

I guess we'll see on Tuesday how well she can actually sing it live, we know she won't mime then

Personally I think it's live but even if it is mimed then she has got the balls (or lack of...) to come out and perform after what she's been through. She's a trooper.

It certainly sounded mimed to me, brilliant performance though and she welled up again after the performance which I thought was quite cute :)
