March 15, 201015 yr Saade? I'm sure Salem al Fakir would pass if he went as Damien Adore... Voters might see it as a spelling mistake on the contest's behalf, just like they spelt "Keating" wrong in the 2nd semi-final last year :kink: "Sade" could be passable as a British surname
March 15, 201015 yr Semi 1 Keep On Walking - 47,047 -> Straight Through I Did It For Love - 45,622 Unstoppable - 44,796 Road Salt - 28,457 You're Making Me Hot Hot Hot - 27,482 The Saviour - 26,044 -> Out Singel - 13,592 -> Out A Place To Stay - 6,970 -> Out Unstoppable - 64,601 -> Final I Did It For Love - 57,629 Road Salt - 46,788 You're Making Me Hot Hot Hot - 34,609 -> Out So "Unstoppable" was in 3rd after the first round, but got more than Jessica in the second round, and so made it straight to the final
March 15, 201015 yr I guess many votes have moved from the bottom 3 voters to mostly Ola. I can't believe such generic song as I Did It For Love is was so liked out there! :o

March 15, 201015 yr Semi 4 This Is My Life - 52,838 -> Straight Through Hollow - 49,464 Jag Vill Om Du Vagar - 36,138 Idiot - 27,504 Human Frontier - 25,772 Thursdays - 25,070 -> Out Stop - 16,513 -> Out Magisk Stjarna - 3,822 -> Out Hollow - 61,099 -> Final Jag Vill Om Du Vagar - 42,439 Human Frontier - 31,110 Idiot - 26,082 -> Out "Idiot" & "Human Frontier" swapped in the second round :D
March 15, 201015 yr Second Chance Jag Vill Om Du Vagar - 62,677 Road Salt - 52,570 -> Out Heaven Or Hell - 54,139 Sucker For Love - 50,111 -> Out Underbart - 81,619 Human Frontier - 50,700 -> Out I Did It For Love - 94,623 Headlines - 68,618 -> Out __________________________________ Jag Vill Om Du Vagar - 79,693 Heaven Or Hell - 74,933 -> Out I Did It For Love - 93,447 Underbart - 90,050 -> Out
March 18, 201015 yr A rather shocking development has happened on Sweden's iTunes... Salem Al Fakir has replaced Anna at #1 (also at #10, compared to #2 and #24 for Anna) :cheer:
March 18, 201015 yr Heyhey! Finally back and able to post! It was awesome :D Just putting a few things right and responding to a couple of observations first. It's very unfortunate that it didn't come across well on television, but Andreas went down very well with the audience :( And yes everyone had a bag waiting for them on their seat upon arrival containing a programme, a Norwegian flag, a balloon and three glowsticks (a purple one for Darin, a white one for Andreas and an insanely bright yellow one for Anna). They all had little number stickers on them to correspond to the song number, and during the VTs for the artists, a message flashed up on the screen telling us to light the glowsticks. I think Darin's one was a bit pointless though because as far as I could see there weren't that many audience shots during his performance. I watched Casablanca's performance back and as much as I loved seeing Malena mime sing live, I get the feeling her appearance had more impact on screen, as the audience could see her taking about a minute walking on stage in that dress :lol: I was shocked to see Peter Joback so low down as live, it was amazing. In the dress rehearsal when we were right up at the stage it gave me goosebumps, but it obviously wasn't to people's tastes. Some other little snippets are that we met Timoteij, Mans (much to my other half's delight), Eric and (very briefly) Christine. In fact we saw Timoteij a good few times and I think they remembered us because we always exchanged little smiles waves and hellos. They were always together which was sweet, and it was heartbreaking seeing them crying and comforting each other on Saturday night when the cameras went off. Speaking of which, we had quite a good view of the green room on Saturday and it was hilarious watching Pernilla. Every time the cameras were on her she was all light-hearted and smiles and having a laugh with the other singers, but then that just dropped when the cameras were off! Also she had a stylist who came and fixed her hair every time the cameras went off! That's all I can remember right now, except for Paradise being the best club I've ever been to! 90% of the music on Friday was schlager / ESC / Melfest. They played Kom twice, Jenny Silver did a live set for which we were right up at the stage, and singing (shouting) along to Be My Valentine has to be one of the highlights of the weekend! Oh the nights I've wished that came on in a club! The following night they were having a big afterparty with performances from Neo, Nanne and Linda Pritchard but we'd already seen her in the Globen shopping mall and it cost about £16 quid in so we gave it a miss. Anti-Crisis Bom! Excellent, a true schlager diva then, diva being the operative word! :lol: Glad you had a great time, hope I can go next year, or even better Anna wins it for Sweden and I'll skip MF and just go to ESC in Globen :magic: I really don't fancy going to Jerusalem :(
March 19, 201015 yr I believe the album has leaked in its entirety, and is worth getting just for the pick and choose ^_^ Lots of potential future BJSC entries that barely anyone paid attention to!
April 1, 201015 yr What have they done?! :rofl: http://4lyrics.kwivia.co.uk/sweden/mf-2010/ LMFAO. :(
April 4, 201015 yr Here is my album rate for Salem Al Fakir, with "Ignore This": 06 The Song I Never Wrote - [quite nice, but can't give too much as it's short, with no singing] 06 4 O'Clock - [it grew on me while I listened. Very odd] 07 Virgin Mary - [now this is a bit better, but no amazing quality] 03 Red Rock - [certainly different, but at the same time, awful] 10 Keep On Walking - [AMAZING. obviously.] 08 This Is For - [started off weird, that weird got boring, but then the chorus broke out, and that was really good] 07 Part Of It - [quite good, but nothing more] 09 Brooklyn Sun - [very nice. Quite normal when compared to some of the others] 04 Don't Wanna Talk About It - [a very irritating sound for the first minute, but after that it's quite nice] 07 Bloody Breakfast - [something quite charming about it] 08 Split My Personality - [one of about three so far that I'd listen to again] 05 Cowboys & Dinosaurs - [instrumentals tend to bore me] 09 I'm So Happy - [a really nice finish to the album] Average rating: 6.846 Would I recommend this album to a friend? Afraid not
April 4, 201015 yr Yeah, it's definitely an acquired taste of an album...Keep On Walking gives off a false impression of what to expect apart from Brooklyn Sun and I'm So Happy I guess... Most of the radio pop lovers in Sweden who have bought the album based on Keep On Walking will be most displeased :heehee: I REALLY like most of it though, although I can live without the instrumentals
