Oh the video is glorious ^_^

 

Never did I expect to be excited over a Katie Melua record.

Well this is a suprise! She's always been a bit of a meh artists, she doesnt have a bad back catalogue she just has one filled with non-events (though I did quite like Closest Thing To Crazy). This is wonderful though and a nice change for her.

It reminds me of Cheryl Cole on several bits :

- the split screen effect (like in the '3 words' video)

- the dancers all waving their hands behind her like in the FFTL choregraphy

- the dancers doing some bits of choregraphy reminding me of FFTL performance too

 

Of course I'm not saying she copied Cheryl, as a Chezza loon I'm just saying it was fun noticing those 'similarity' bits :P

REALLY good. I think it might be her best. I'll appreciate some commercial success for her too. :P

Now I totally love this song, maybe even it's the best of this year for me. Just excellent, and the video is gem.

The Flood is what pop music needs right now!!!!

 

 

I've always been a fan of her music. If The Lights Go Out is particularly great. The Flood is Pretty good, but I can imagine it will alienate a number of her fans. For example, my Dad loves her but I can't see this appealing to him at all.

She's heading to a flop with this single, which is so not understandable.

I know she's more of an album seller, but this song is TOO good to flop :(

My favourite song of hers to date by some margin, love it :wub: the breakdown in the middle is fantastically unexpected!

When I first heard it, I found it boring (and turned off before the amazing breakdown halfway through!) but now after a few more listens, I love it, so I'm glad it seems it's going to get a good (well, to say it's been under-supported) chart position on Sunday. ^_^

The album is astounding. So incredible.
