Was an alright song, and she's mega talented, but I just wasn't feeling it.

Yeah it's really weird. Interesting to hear a studio version though.

Have to say I found it rather boring.

Will wait for studio version to be sure though!

I think it's terrible. Very musical theatre. Really it's Send In The Clowns rewritten by a performing monkey.

Was the song she performed her first single off the new album, or just an album track?

I though the song was ok, nothing special :( I think it sounded very dated so I hope its not her first comeback single.

I'm liking this on first listen, look forward to hearing the studio version
Apparently an album track :( Shame, I was liking the sound of it from OTR last night...

Charlotte Church has announced that she will release her second pop album later this year.

Back To Scratch, the follow-up to 2005's Tissues And Issues, will be released in the UK on November 1.

The 14-track set has been produced by Martin Terefe, whose previous credits include James Morrison, KT Tunstall and Jason Mraz, and Sacha Skarbeck, who notably co-wrote six tracks on James Blunt's Back To Bedlam LP.

It was partly written in Nashville with country songwriters Luke Laird and Patrick Davis, while Welsh singer-songwriter Jonathan Powell and Irish acoustic duo New Druids have also contributed.

Back To Scratch will be preceded by a single - the LP's title track - on October 24. 'Back To Scratch' was originally inspired "by problems facing a family member", but Church admitted in a press release that the song now has resonance to her own personal life following her recent split from Gavin Henson.

"It became the perfect song for my situation so I sing it with a lot of conviction," she said.

Other tracks confirmed for the album include 'Ruby', originally recorded by French single Camille, 'Logical World', 'Story Of Us', 'Don't Think About It' and 'Cup Of The Sun'.

Back To Scratch will also feature 'The Actors', which Church performed on BBC One talent contest Over The Rainbow in May, and a cover of Joni Mitchell's 'River'.

A video featuring a snippet of another song from the album, 'Snow', is currently streaming on the singer's official website.

Church's previous pop album, Tissues And Issues, went platinum in the UK after spawning the top 20 hits 'Crazy Chick', 'Call My Name', 'Even God Can't Change The Past' and 'Moodswings (To Come At Me Like That)'.

Oh I completely forgot about this! :o

Was there really any point in premiering The Actors? After all this time I can't even remember what it was like (although I do remember being underwhelmed)

Single and album plans are now confirmed!

Charlotte Church has revealed the tracklisting for her new album.

Back To Scratch will feature 13 brand new songs as well as a cover of Joni Mitchell's 'River' included as a hidden bonus track.

Back To Scratch will be released in the UK on October 25 - a week earlier than originally planned. Meanwhile, The title track and lead single will be available to download from September 19.

Earlier this week Digital Spy enjoyed an exclusive first listen of the single, branding it "an adult pop song that's not nearly as mournful as its lyrics make it sound".
