I’m almost certain Zoe will die off screen, it seems to me something happened to make Michelle Ryan quit instantly and probably just ask that the door is closed. Obviously we don’t know for sure if the reports were entirely true, but given she was refused time off and now has swanned off for weeks I wouldn’t be shocked at all. Mauled to death due to Lynne’s illegal XL bully puppy farm 💜 Like I’m genuinely thinking she just dies in her sleep of an aneurysm or some undiagnosed heart problem and that’s that. Idk why they’re filming a funeral in that case, I suppose it will give Jessie Wallace something to slay but as said I can’t wait for them to explain why the likes of Lynne, Little Mo, even Stacey (I guess she might come back for it) aren’t there. I know we can’t tell from two episodes, but the sisters are both giving Wadey’s signature immediate Flanderisation. No nuance, just ham fisted “oh aren’t they fun” every scene. Maybe we’ll get the nuance, again we can’t necessarily write off anyone based on two episodes but if Bea is anything to go by I’m not sure Wadey can even do that.

One of the finest men on earth and he’s somehow got even better looking, plus one of the best realistic returning characters they could get!! I have to agree about Nicola’s sisters, with her mum we’ve had hints and I think the difficult relationship and how they overcome will make her work but I’m already fed up of the sisters. Knowing Wadey everything will revolve around them now.

I’m just not seeing what they’re seeing for Art, not to the extent they are acting like every single thing she does is utterly life changing. Agreed with the bottoms, actually thought Lala’s could have been great if the construction wasn’t so off, Vybe was the opposite where she did what she could but the idea didn’t have anywhere to go no matter what she did, given the fabrics she had she was fighting a losing battle. I’m sad to lose Estrella but she was by far the worst sadly lol

I’m thinking Mocha wins tbh, they diversified the winner’s circle a bit with Bones and Gawdland after lots of campy queens winning bar Krystal, so I think they might do that again but Naya is rumoured to be Ru’s fave.

I love Delta, I hate that Drag Face has historically never actually given these kind of queens a chance bc I think having the same type of queens all the time is one thug that can drag UK down. There’s a lot of variety in UK drag and I wish the show embraced that but with Ru hosting I think there’s a limited chance of that I’d say Mocha, Dannii, Delta and KY Kelly are my favourites from MTQs but it seems like a better cast than last season already (and a few names I was familiar with or have seen) so I’m cautiously optimistic.

I can’t see her Art not winning tbh, although the original elim order which does seem to be right (or has been so far) didn’t have her top 2 either. Maybe she proceeds to flop or maybe they just play in her face but I can’t see it the way they’re blowing smoke up her arse for EVERYTHING she does. She has done well at everything but I think it’s so OTT. I guess if she absolutely flops everything else lol I’d hazard a guess at the rapping roast top 2 being Lala and Michael, acting maybe Michael and Vybe, then makeover Jade and Vybe, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Art took the acting challenge

Mariana is the first queen ever to survive BTM-BTM-BTM at the start of her TR, and how iconic she goes on to have two more before winning twice 💀 I believe Tayce and Kameron Michaels are the only other queens to survive 3 bottoms in a row, Roxxxy on AS5 ofc did 4 in a row and Mariana will break her and Jorgeous’ record for having 5 in a season.

This season just feels like Lotita and Taiga having a Kiki with their friends and praising them more than actual competition, like they’ve clearly cast most of these as filler bc they didn’t have enough people to do a proper Mexico All Stars

I was actually cackling at Nicky getting up on stage and making a song and dance as if she’s seen Brook vs Yvie first hand 😭 This season is so odd because it’s doing way too much at times like this but not enough in the places that matter, like the challenges have been “meh here I guess”. Especially given season 3 had twists like the triple challenge and having to do 2 Snatch Games. France has been really high quality and innovated at times but this season just isn’t hitting on any metric.

Given the stunning realism of these incredibly engaging prison scenes…. I expect Gray will try to kill Ian and then they’ll just be like oh he’s suffered enough let him out :) 💀💀💀💀

I was howling at Tiffany saying “you don’t know what I’m capable of” after bombing comedy, design and performance at that point 😭 My judging evens things out a bit and at least has some semblance of a competition with the wins shared out a bit. Honestly toss up between Nearah and Aurora in the last episode, they could have had Nearsh get a win and Aurora does the lipsync to kind of cement being a lipsync assassin before she takes everyone out and wins in the lipsync finale. I agree, if anything the flash forward has harmed the show rather than being a year of buildup to see what happens. Like there’s no stakes to anything when we know characters are in the show in 2027. Like Ian’s going to prison? Ok but he’s out in four months tops because he’s in the FF, same with Mark leaving. Even Denise, she obviously doesn’t die because she’s mentioned in the FF as Libby asked where she was. Now we know Linda is going, she probably isn’t Max’s bride and even if Kellie leaves after NYD, that means there would be 0 point to the wedding, although with how Max is and the fact the FF posited him as still cheating with Priya, there is 0 point anyway lol. When Hollyoaks did a flash forward it worked as it was only bits and pieces (a murder that was the culmination of a County Lines storyline, a wedding but we didn’t know who either party was, stuff like that) not a whole episode. Even the Six, that was fine as it was just about one storyline, only about who got killed and who killed them, it didn’t reveal loads of bits around it. There’s kind of simultaneously too much revealed and not enough, like they’ve kind of been deliberately a bit ambiguous and I genuinely don’t believe they actually had decided what they’re doing with half of it at the point it aired

I can’t say I’m feeling this season, for various reasons but there just isn’t that spark or anything that exciting. For one the eliminations, Malawitte, Margarette and now Fluffy going when they were the only ones that really excited me to see what they were going to do. Daisy is brilliant but not someone I’m hugely excited by or rooting for, she’s my winner for sure now but eh. The challenges are not that intriguing, why is virtually every challenge on a season hosted by a Nicky Doll a performance challenge? we’ve had the “Rumix” type challenge and a talent show, ok fair those are kind of standard for a France, but now the design challenge was a girl group too? And the episodes themselves are boring, I’m sick of the formulaic trauma mirror chats. They don’t really pack an emotional punch anymore when you know like clockwork one happens just before the challenge. Where’s the fun and sisterhood and shade?

They didn’t count it then, but it’s cool winning a lipsync for your life as part of a challenge. It’s kinda funny one win was a whole Snatch Game but then you can just get one for a photoshoot or a lipsync lol but Canada has been really good lately at innovating challenges and keeping them a bit fresh (this, the reading battles, the Snatch Game/design choice and even if it didn’t work, I appreciated that they tried the Snatch Game Rusical)

Art is kinda boring me 😭 Like yeah that impersonation was good but I’m just so bored of knowing exactly what you’ll get from her. She’s a great queen but she’s almost too branded, it’s predictable and you don’t see her take risks or step out of her lane or do anything that exciting. I’d have had Coco in the top 2 personally, I think she’s the only one who went out of her comfort zone for that Snatch Game and attacked it. Playing to your strengths is fine, but Vybe was kinda dull (albeit with decent volleying), Michael was all too rehearsed and Estrella was basically just herself. I think Flor should have avoided the bottom bc at least she tried something, honestly that was toeing the line of some kind of watershed revolutionary Snatch Game without speaking then she just… put a wig on and was herself? Huge swing and a miss, but at least there was a swing.

We continue with completely wrong tea, as Art won Snatch Game with Vybe in the top and Coco high, Flor was actually bottom with Nikita but she was second out so I think the original elim order of Nicole-Nikita-Estrella-Coco-Flor-Lala is correct? Honestly any of the latter 4 could feasibly go home on a design challenge lol. Kinda hope it’s right and we get the Michael/Jade top 2 but the way they’re blowing smoke up Art I fear she wins. I do think she’s good but the ott praise last week was kind of insane

Todays episode made me appreciate Zaarah as she’s f***ing fantastic but also made me sad thinking of the greatness we’ve missed out because they’ve given her nothing to do for years. A silver lining in what possibly a new low for insane plots for the show.

It was always just kind of presented as fact like we all understood lol
