Cheryl Cole has reportedly gone back to the gym for the first time after catching malaria.

According to The Mirror, the singer feels that she is “out of shape” and wants her fitness levels to be the same as they were.

A source explained: “Cheryl hasn’t been able to exercise in over two months and it’s been frustrating the hell out of her. Now she’s feeling better, she is desperate to start boosting her cardiovascular fitness.”

The insider added that the 27-year-old is preparing for her upcoming photoshoot.

“But the main incentive is the forthcoming photoshoot of her next solo album. Originally put back, it’s been rescheduled for a couple of weeks’ time, and she wants to be in brilliant shape.

Cheryl knows she’s not overweight, but she is not as toned as she could be. The album shoot will be really arty but will see her in minimal clothing.”

Cole was said to be working out with her rumoured boyfriend Derek Hough in a gym close to their LA hotel.

I seriously can't wait for this.

I'm sure this will be a big improvement on '3 words' and should tell all the haterzzz off. ^_^

I don't think that the second album this year will be a good move. IMHO she should wait to next summer, and release it after appearance in American dancing with the stars. If she will release it this year she hasn't any chance to have a global success. I don't understand what she want to prove, if she will release albums year by year(2009-2010-2011), she risk that people in Britain get bored with her music, and what she will do if she doesn't reach a success in America? And what she may gain? Another 3 top ten singles in UK?This is what national treasure should dream?

Girls Aloud have released albums year by year for like 8 years, and they've gone stronger and stronger, so your point is not valid at all.

Plus, what do you mean by "what she will do if she doesn't reach a success in America?". Look at the likes of Natasha Bedingfield, KT Tunstall, Leona Lewis, etc. They've all made it big in the US and as a results their second albums did pretty poorly in the UK.

Her choice is wise, not releasing a second album this winter would be a mistake. Especially if we want a Girls Aloud album next year.

Are people so naive to see that Girls Aloud will not reunite for about another year, I'm guessing if they play their cards right, maybe September 2011 (For the X Factor then). Sarah is recording her album, no-one knows when Nadine's CD is coming out, Cheryl's releasing in October-time and Nicola has just started recording (probably be out in February!). There's no chance of a GA album to even begin recording until next summer!

Nicola isn't recording. Nadine's album is out this year around nov/dec time.

Album is titled 'Messy Little Raindrops'.

proof?

This is a terrible album title, but this is official, and her second single is a Flood.
Promise This is the first single taken from Messy Little Raindrops which is due for release on November 1st. Cheryl has been working hard on the album since the start of the year. Starting with writing sessions in the New Year, and recorded in both London and LA, the album sees Cheryl working with a selection of the finest producers ranging from Will I Am and JR Rotem to Starsmith."

a flood? what

Messy Little Raindrops?

Album title - messy little drops, next single - flood. omg sounds like a joke!

The single after 'Promise This' will be an enormo-ballad called 'The Flood', a massive, string laden, christmassy tear jerker about "wreckage" and "drowning" and "natural disaster love". Be prepared to shed a tear or three, as Cheryl sadly croons, "you can't hold onto water".
^ can we get a link from where are you getting this info please???

Yes i want to see as-well.

I don't think i'll be shedding any tears somehow.
