3 months to wait! Hopefully we'll hear a single in February though. This needs to be huge. I'm sure they have a lot up their sleeve. :dance:

They need to announce the new single in early February, premiering it the next day on Capital/Radio 1, with a music video being released around February 20th, with the official single release on March 19th. Then GlassHeart can follow a week later.

Given how catastrophically they've buggered up so far, I wouldn't bank on it. I actually feel quite sorry for her with how they've handled this, they could've acted quickly after what happened with 'Collide' but instead they've effectively rubbed salt into an open wound.

I can't see Leona recovering much during this era, unless they release a killer new song which attracts radio support. I don't know why "collide" wasnt more popular with radio as its a great song and very contemporary.

Can't wait to hear Trouble. Emeli new song called Daddy was produced by Naughty boy like Trouble.

I really don't see the hype for 'Love Birds'.

 

Sure it's a cute song but I wouldn't call it single-worthy. I wouldn't even say it was album-worthy. I want more edgy material, not a 'Better in Time III'. Something like 'Glass Heart' or 'Trouble' should be the lead single. If 'Trouble' is anything like 'Heaven' or 'Daddy', I would be extremely over the moon.

And since the album was pushed back to record new material, i doubt very much the next single will be Trouble since they obviously didnt have enough faith in it originally to release it and the album as planned... -_-

Clive Davis also blamed Leona's decision to co-write for the underperformance of Echo. -_- Yeah, the lack of enthusiasm each record label had for the project and the ridiculous decision to not act on a failing lead single weren't major problems in the album campaign. :rolleyes:

 

Clive Davis did however say, as said above, that the album is nearly finished and Leona is one of his main priorities at the moment. He seems excited about this album and says that the label have asked Will.I.Am, Ryan Tedder and another producer I can't remember to submit their best material to Leona. He also said that there are already a few hits recorded and completed. :D
