Posted March 20, 201015 yr Rob Fusari is suing GaGa, basically saying that he didn't get the money he should have got. He said he has been denied a 20 percent song-royalties share and 15 percent of merchandising revenue, although he acknowledges getting paid some money. He also said he coined her stage name 'GaGa' and they had a romantic relationship together. Fusari produced hit single 'Paparazzi' and 'Beautiful, Dirty, Rich' among others songs for GaGa. I'm really pissed to be honest. Just as GaGa gets big, he starts trying to ride on her coattails. Also quite sad, as this means they won't make music together anymore and the music they made together was amazing. March 20, 201015 yr "Paparazzi" is amazing, but I don't reckon much to "Beautiful, Dirty, Rich". "He also said he coined her stage name 'GaGa'" I heard somewhere that the stage name was invented when someone sent something to GaGa, or somewhere who works with her, and they wrote Lady GaGa by mistake, actually meaning Radio GaGa. So is he the person who sent it, or is he lying?
March 23, 201015 yr Who is this prick?? I mean he certainly did NOT coin the term "Ga Ga"... I think he'll find that any of us who's ever heard the Queen song "Radio Ga Ga" (and, er, that's a HELL of a lot of us) know the origin of the name, and the fact that Lady G herself counts Freddie Mercury as an influence on her... Jesus, it doesn't take Einstein to figure out this asshole doesn't have a leg to stand on....... I think all Lady Ga Ga has to do is bring in "Queen's Greatest Hits" into the courtroom and well, hmmm, it'll be "case dismissed" I should imagine..... She might be in trouble if Brian May and Roger Taylor decide to sue her though.....  The saying is very true though - "Where there's hit, there's gonna be a writ"....

March 24, 201015 yr In early GaGa interviews, I remember her mentioning Rob Fusari a lot when she was asked how she got her name. She said it was a nickname he made up because of how eccentric she was - he would call her "GaGa" from the Queen song. Whenever she's asked more recently she just says its a nickname friends used to call her because something must have happened with Rob.
