The French site U2achtung.com has a list of rumors posted that includes:

 

■A U2 360 tour DVD to be released on May 21. (We've also heard this from friends/sources. It could be the Pasadena DVD.)

■A new single in June, but no album before the fall at earliest.

■The Achtung Baby remaster out in September. (Which still seems bizarre since next year is the 20th anniversary.)

■U2 may be reworking some old songs for a separate release. (Another Best Of?)

A bit dissapointed they picked this gig - I already have it due to it being on youtube in full - having said that I would like a much better quality and edited more professonally. Bono's voice was not great on this gig iimo, compared to many of the others. I'd have preferred thje 2nd Wembley gig to be released - it was meant to be amazing afterall :lol:

I would of preferred the first Wembley gig as that's the one I went to, :lol: always the way, the second night is the the best!

Perhaps the dvd will show a few clips from other shows also from the tour.

 

Good news though, I look forward to buying it.

I never enjoy the dvd's of their American shows in same way i do European ones as the stage and set always seems to different.

tho why they cant release two dvd's one american and one european or even a dual disc edition with both varieties on; even as a ltd edit one would be vast improvement...

U2 Rose Bowl DVD Confirmed: June 7 Release

The UK music shop EIL has added U2's upcoming U2 360 at the Rose Bowl DVD to its web site, and assuming the listing is correct, it reveals all kinds of information about the release.

 

■Release date: June 7. This would be the UK/European date, we presume, with North American to follow on June 8.

■Full tracklist for the 2-DVD set. Notably absent from the concert DVD is "Breathe," which was the first song U2 played back on October 25. The rest of the tracklist matches what U2 played live, although we don't know what snippets (if any) might have been edited out.

■Bonus DVD tracklist. Includes what look like a few documentary-style videos, all of the music videos from No Line on the Horizon, and "making of" videos about "Get On Your Boots" and "Magnificent."

■Cover image. As shown at right.

Meanwhile, via a thread on U2start.com comes news that the DVD is listed in four formats on Amazon UK with the same cover image and release date as what EIL lists. We're as curious as you to know what's on the £113.99 "Super Deluxe Box Set" version. see below (Thx to @santiago2u)

 

UPDATE: U2.com has now confirmed all of the above, including that "Breathe" is not on the DVD and that the concert will be released in four formats: Single DVD, 2-DVD Super Deluxe set (content TBA), Deluxe 2-DVD set, and Blu-Ray. The release date is June 7, and we repeat the comments above about that being UK/Europe and June 8 being the North American release. Also, U2BR.com tells us that it'll be released June 8 in Brazil.

 

UPDATE #2: The U2.com article has been updated and now shows "Breathe" as a bonus track on the Blu-ray and 2-DVD sets. (In other words, you have to pay extra if you want the full show.)

 

UPDATE #3: The U2.com store lists all four versions of the DVD, and has the contents of the "Super Deluxe" set as follows: 2 DVDs, 24-page book, Poster, Set-list, Replica Tour Programme, and 7" Vinyl. And, the list price is $39.95, which suggests an error on Amazon UK's part with its previous £113.99 price.

In case you didnt notice - BREATHE Has been left off the bloody DVD. What kind of f***ing idiot came up with that idea???? To leave the OPENING SONG off the concert? This is beyony ridiculous and makes zero sence. How on earth can the gig be released on DVD but no beginining with the band walking out to Larry's drum solo to Breathe? :blink: :angry: :angry: :angry: :angry: :angry:

 

Apparently the only way to get Breathe is to buy the super-exspensive Bluray or the £113.99 special edition! :angry: :angry: :angry:

 

On a more positive note, the quality is ALOT better and more attractive looking with the camera angles and colour than the youtube origian live airing. However, is it really worth being ripped off when most of us already have the bloody gig, the whole bloody gig with Breathe already? It is so fustrating.

 

They should NEVER havep picked this gig. It was the end of the tour and Bono's voice as shot in places, plus it is yt another American DVD - it is a known fact at this stage that their weakest DVD's are always in the States. They should've waited until the second European leg, or even picked another Euro date. Or better yet wait till South America - the atmosphere there is amazing for gigs. -_-

Well, as many of us, I hoped that they'll pick one other concert. Just not that one. Firstly crowd is sleepy, lights aren't the best... But, I'll definitely have that. And I still hope they'll make it better somehow. And left out Breathe is really silly thing to do!

Vertigo from the DVD is up on youtube - from the official site as a preview. Lots of OTT camera work going on - I hope it is just due to it being Veritog and not like that for the whole DVD :lol:

I just noticed, the non blue ray dvd for £17.99 is a deluxe edition.
