An edited version of the DVD was show in Brazil last week and has made it's way onto youtube - really interesting to see them opening with 'Boots' - it is actually done very well although I am still annoyed about Breathe being left off as I loved the intro with Larry on the drums and then the others coming out. Overall it looks ALOT better visually than the youtube live gig. ^_^ I'm ALOT more excited about getting the DVD now :w00t:

Intro - Get On Your Boots

Magnificent

Unforgettable Fire

Crazy Tonight

Sunday Bloody Sunday

Streets

It looks much better this way.

Looks and sounds brilliant, can't wait to get the dvd.

I always said Boots would of been a good concert opener :P it's a real shame they missed Breathe off

the dvd though, it's a good song and doesn't deserve to not be on the list.

Vertigo

It was only the 45 minute highlight package that was shown in Oz and Brazil which was posted in this thread with - Boots, Magnificent, Vertigo, Crazy Tonight, SBD, Streets, Ultraviolet, Moment Of Surrender.

It was a nice taster of the DVD and a big improvment on the youtube did in terms of audio and visual. It is going to be a cracking DVD, there is no doubt about that. It is just a shame it had to be another US show, and it was right at the end of the tour ie. Bono's voice was not at it's best, but we will hopefully get another 360 DVD from the second Euro leg or even better a South American gig for a change - the atmosphere there is amazing at gigs.

It was a bit lazy of them to release the Rose Bowl gig on DVD since most fans have already seen it though - it's just like Bruce Springsteen with his upcoming DVD from Hyde Park - it is widely regarded by his fans as being one of the very few average gigs of the tour with Bruce's voice being totally shot at times (mainly due to playing at Glasto till 1.30am only a matter of hours earlier) - but was only picked due to the Hard Rock Calling already having it filmed - his managment wanted to save money and avoid having to pay someone to film a different show.

Great detailed review of the DVD here http://www.atu2.com/news/review-u2-360-at-the-rose-bowl.html

My dvd arrived today :cheer:

Haven't had time to watch it yet :nocheer:

Bad, bad fan! :P

I wish I can buy dvd. But, I'm trying... To find some way. -_-

Got the DVD on Friday - watched it in full last night and was actually blown away at how bloody good it is :o The highlight package shown on Sky1 did it no justice. It is such a massive improvment on the youtube live stream and has that magical live U2 feel to it - there are many highlights, among which include 'I Still Havent Found (deffo a goodbumbs moment with the crowd singing), Stuck, Elevation, Until The End Of The World (love the part at the end with the bridges), City, Beautiful Day (one of the best ever - loved 'In Gods Country' snippit), Streets (especially when Bono stood on the speakers at the end and the lights went up on the crowd - very special), UF, In a little while, Ultra Violet. The whole thing was epic, the sound and picture quality really is quite something. :D

The only issues really was the crowd - the band, especially Bono (despite his voice breaking a few times due to it being at the end of a 40+ date tour) were on fire throughout, and the crowd did not deserve them. Apart from a few moments such as ISHFWILF, I could barely hear any crowd whatsoever - again a big problem with doing DVDs in America - the crowds are always far far more reserved than Europe, South America, Oz etc. I hope we get another DVD from a future leg - as we have done for the past 2 tours.

Still haven't watched it

Maybe on Sunday :teresa:

My dvd has been sitting on the side for over a week, not got round to watching it yet either

Now I have time, the tv remote is not mine because of the football :arrr:

I'm watching it this morning, what I've seen so far, it's brill and very well put together :yahoo:
