Whats your source ? On her site it just says album due summer 2010 and no mention of single preview tomorrow, just full premiere on 30th (Tuesday next)

 

In big writing it says 'Check back Friday 26th March for an Exclusive Preview'

That's got to be either the single or album cover...... both titles fit with the half-human/half-machine image.

On the site it says 'New album everywhere June 8th', along with a countdown which leads up to then (currently at 74 days, 22 hours etc.)

There is also a player on the site which says 'Check back Friday March 26th for an exclusive preview'.

Think I was in it when it broke and all I was getting was the text, as pasted into earlier post, on a plain black background. think I must have had a problem with cached site info. Restarted explorer and now I get the proper details !!

Doesn't sound like that much of a departure from her older material though...the way she was talking about it made me think it would be something completely different to what she's done before. It's ok, but I was expecting more tbh. Hopefully when the full track leaks I'll prefer it! :D

Cremey the reason it doesn't sound like the departure she promised is that the label sent her to record it because they weren't confident of the album having a big lead single on it so she had no choice but to slap on the obligitary banger. I really like what I hear though. That very last line in the preview sounds as if it's building up to something big.

She said the album will be a MIX of loads of different genres. I think she needs a massive hit for the first single to help the album do really well.

Ah ok, thanks for that. From what I hear it does sound like a strong lead single, just not what I was hoping for. I agree about the last line too, I'm quite glad the preview stops there as it obviously makes you want to hear more!

The songs on which she's collaborated with Sia, Switch etc. should be on the album though, I'm really intrigued to hear those!

the more i listen to it, the more i like it! i really want to hear the whole thing and i'm curious what the concept of the video will be.

i think the lead single will be great, but she probably counts on 'lift me up' to fuel the interest towards the album as well; i expect another single will be released prior to the official release of the album. so, as an overall effect, there will be a huge hype.

I think it quite different to her previous work. I love the fact that its a diferent style to her previous albums, but you can still tell its her. I love her delivery of 'someone call the doctor cause i lost my mind'
