Yeah, you say that now, but you don't know that Marching In's actually Swedish and was considered for Eurovision

Please, Christer Bjorkman wouldn't have the guts to put this into Melodifestivalen. He puts old tuneless non-schlager bags in who have no chance of doing well whatsover, like Py Backman, but I dread to think how many decent songs actually got rejected in favour of 'widening the genres on show' or something :drama:

Don't be silly, it's 2 minutes too long for Eurovision! (though I knew they were Swedish)

Well, if VELVTZING (the amazing sequel to Hero, along with Pernilla, if I ever heard it) got rejected I dread to think how much I'd want to kill Christer if I saw the full list of rejections.

Well, there goes my attempt to try and fool you into hating it :kink:

Psh.

To be fair, there is a moment at the 3 minute mark where it feels like it's finished. I don't think the last two minutes add a great deal, but it's so fun anyway.

Definitely. I think it could be the indie/pop crossover we're looking for this month. Robyn is good, but everyone seems to agree it's not her best. I was surprised to find myself liking a bit of Lo-Fi-Fnk. I didn't realise the "fnk" meant funk, which is a genre I LOVE.

And what about Lo-Fi genre? :kink:

I'm not that into Lo-Fi really. But Lo-Fi Funk = YES.

10/1 seems incredibly generous for my entry :o I'm seeing my lowest finish since Example to be honest, it hasn't generated any discussion whatsoever :heehee: I'm thinking 21st-25th in the final. Obviously I'd love it to do a hell of a lot better as it's pretty much my favourite song at the moment but I'm not going to be distraught wherever it comes, I'm partly shocked it got as far as the final
The Semi 2 is pretty awful for me tbh, i have listened to the songs that qualified before i voted today and they mostly were terrible :drama: I have given both semis approximately equal amount of listens though!

Basically all of the realistic contenders for the win apart from Botanikka were in Semi 1

It's a real grower ...chorus is immense and makes you press repeat button...IMO you delivered again to introduce us an original epic entry...I just hope the others sees the same way.

also Robyn grown on me massively :(

I'd have Sangria a bit higher in the odds.......considering they qualified without even voting......although if Sangria's doesn't vote in the final...I guess I can see where the lower odds is coming from actually...

I'm glad you feel like that...thing is, it's mostly only instant songs that do well here - it even took a while for it to grow on me to its maximum love, it's pretty unheard of for my entries to enter my personal chart outside the top ten and then peak on their 4th/5th week, they usually enter in the top 3 and drop from then onwards  Her album's much the same, on first listen I thought - this is completely forgettable, but after the third listen I love half of it and like the other half

Still, I'm seeing an epic fail for it to be honest, really pleased it made the final though as it means people have been introduced to it and like it wherever it finishes :D

I considered this, but even despite their third off, it doesn't strike me as the sort of song that came any higher than 6th in the semi, add the (mostly brilliant) semi 1 qualifiers into the mix considering semi 2 was quite weak in comparison and it's pretty much guaranteed mid-table, lower if they don't vote.

also it's certain it will get a lot of 1-5 points...apart from Mikey, who will give it a 12 :kink:

haha we'll see. Funny thing is, I've noticed it in a few personal charts of people who don't participate in BJSC (:drama:) but heard the song either from my chart or from, like me, stealing it from the Dutch charts :heehee:
