i like scooter! i find their 'in yer face' hardcore rather amusing, im just seriously doubting that anything they have done is totally original.

But Scooter are Beethoven compared to Cascadaaarghhhh. Now that's vileness personnified.

I just don't get their mixed success in the UK. In 2008 they were number 1 on the album chart, in 2009 they completely miss the top 40 :huh:

 

Same happened in 1995-6 and 2002-3, they'll be briefly successful but then fall out of favour again. So expect them to be back sometime around 2015...

Well the majority aren't original but there were some that were original :o

Dance albums were at their peak in 2008 - Scooter, Cascada, Ultrabeat all had big albums, even Darren Styles managed a top 5 album which had some longevity! Things go in phases and this type of dance is back out, rap/dance/urban crossovers are the big thing now. I expect Eurodance will be back again at some point in the future - Cascada and Infernal seemed to bring it back to the masses in 2006 and the boom lasted for about two years. All it needs is another couple of megahits at some point to come back again.

yeah, i dont know why nickleback were mentioned, what have they got to do with it?

 

perhaps he means that nickleback (who are crap) play original music where as scooter who use samples/covers are inferior to nickleback because they dont? ie original = good, samples = crap?
