Amanda Holden and Chris Tarrant have been confirmed as the hosts of two-part ITV1 gameshow The Door.

 

EastEnders stars Dean Gaffney and Louisa Lytton, Coronation Street's Jennie McAlpline, Boyzone's Keith Duffy, GMTV presenter Michael Underwood and Saturdays star Frankie Sandford will compete in the programme, which has been billed as the "ultimate celebrity endeavour contest".

 

Each contestant will venture through 'the door' and undertake challenges, which force them to face their fears. The celebrities will "battle claustrophobic spaces, suffer shocks and have to cope with a relentless barrage of disorientating games" as they compete for charity.

 

"The Door is a celebrity's worst nightmare! It's going to make great viewing," said Holden.

 

After the first show, three celebrities will enter the final, while the three losers will face a last ordeal. One of the losing three can earn a place in the second show during the final task.

 

 

So this starts on Good Friday at 9pm. Continues on Saturday at 8.25pm.

 

I saw the trailer on ITV before the news earlier, it looks quite good :)

she was first out but she isnt gone yet she has a chanace left yet to be back in the game.

i don't like how Frankie went out to that Louisa girl or whatever the hell she's called and then in the next round Louisa quit. Sheesh, would have laughed SO hard at Frankie crawling through sewers :L

i think its safe to say that frankie has redeamed herself after that embarrassing performance on 'never mind the buzzcocks'.

 

respect to her for trying that out, im not sure id put my hand in a jar with scorpions and spiders, and her line (when in the cage, anticipating nasties' to join her) "i hope its rabbits" had us :rofl: she showed guts and humour. pity she went out so early but tbh it was obvious that the girls would be out. pity cos i cant stand dean gaffney, whats with all that wretching? is there mirrors in there? :lol:

awww they don't seem to have much luck with reality tv lol. thank god they never did xfactor!
