pictureplane samples a lot of 90's trance/dance and makes even better music out of it. check him out. glad you like wild nothing's cover as well, his music is amazeee. <3 check out confirmation and summer holiday.

 

and it's cool haha, i just check like 10 or so sources a few times a week for music and chart what i like. i don't expect people to listen to everything in my chart or anything, but it's meant to be for finding one new track or something / asking for recommendations. definitely hit up the new lcd track, it's incredible.

baths "maximalist" - now this I love. This is the only thing I know by them/him/her but I adore stuff like this.

caribou "jamelia" - Love. I have the album on pre-order, really looking forward to it. What's the deal with Caribou & Manitoba? I had no idea they were the same although I see that the Manitoba album I got ages ago is also available under the Caribou name. Which is odd.

caribou "odessa" - see above, love it.

class actress "let me take you out" - Liking the whole Journal of Ardency EP, I agree that this is probably the highlight though.

delorean "stay close" - Like these but not familiar with this track...

diamond rings "wait & see" - Great, simple but kinda catchy

gayngs "the gaudy side of town" - Not sold on this yet. Again, kinda dreamy but didn't hold my attention

@ caribou, caribou used to record under the name 'manitoba' but some guy sued him (even though he never really used the name 'manitoba', he's just a dick). caribou didn't have the money to contest him and nor did he really care so he just renamed his project caribou. he's now rereleased older material under his new name.

 

and hear drunk girls by lcd ASAP, it's so f***ing good.

 

i love kingdom. ): i dunno, his samples are sickkk imo and the beats are nice, takes that genre of music and makes it artsy and super listenable. you can tell kingdom has musical talent and purposely decides to make his music sound the way it does. it's super good.

 

baths <3 so good. i've recently realized how much i bum glowfi / chillwave, i need to stop lawlz. it's just what speaks to me tbh at this point. blithe field are super good too, glad you like them. remind me a lot of the books.
