Posted April 1, 201015 yr Kylie Minogue tops celebrity power list Wednesday, March 31 2010, 17:58 BST By Paul Millar Rex Features Kylie Minogue has been named the most powerful celebrity in the UK, a recent study has confirmed. The Aussie pop icon beat fellow singer Cheryl Cole and former England captain David Beckham to the title. Apart from Minogue, the only non-Brit in the list was American actor George Clooney, who ranked in the top ten. Mark Husak, head of Millward Brown's UK media practice, said: "Kylie is widely accepted as an adopted Brit. People know her, like her and she is surrounded by positive buzz." Other stars in the chart included veteran actresses Joanna Lumley, Helen Mirren and Dame Judi Dench. TV hosts Ant and Dec, radio DJ Terry Wogan, celebrity chef Jamie Oliver and former Bond actor Sean Connery also featured.
April 1, 201015 yr Author Well Kylie since she returned in 2000 has had nothing but positive press, there has been hardly any negative stories about her and she is a celebrity that seems to be loved by everyone which is rare, people may not like her music but they do seem to like her and when other artists slate her like oasis the press are very quick to defend her, its all very positove for her indeed which makes her a huge earner from magazines merchandise etc.

April 2, 201015 yr Author Yes definitly so and she has luckily escaped that, and now that Kylie is doing the breast cancer awareness campaign the press are lauding kylie even more and rightly so.
