Yeah, that's true. However, the songs do still use the same chords. If you adjusted the tempoes, and transposed the songs a bit, you could play Bittersweet Symphony's instrumental at the same time as Ridin' Solo's and it'd sound great (I believe some people have actually done this on youtube).

I'm not sure why Only Girl in the World is so massive. Granted I like the song a lot, mostly the production, as her extremely loud vocals get a bit annoying after a while... she could learn a lot from the great dance divas, you don't scream at the top of your lungs from the very beginning...
