June 23, 201015 yr Hey, Tbh i wouldn't be suprised to see CBT(Album) Enter the top 3 by Sunday.. It's number 2 in Asda, Tesco and Hmv... (Example had an extra day download) so i think it must be quite close
June 23, 201015 yr Ah I see, how about The Climb has that been a constant in the top 200? Yup been in top 200 for over 15months :)
June 23, 201015 yr You guys 'Stay' is SO stunning! Stop listening to 'Liberty Walk'/ 'Permanent December' etc for a while and listen to 'Stay' ! It is SO gorgeous  better than 'The Climb' and 'When I Look At You' put together TBH! And I hardly find it generic as well (shock horror all pop ballads are automatically generic), the lyrics are breathtaking! The song is so deep and mature, it can be so huge in the same vein as Beyonce's 'Halo' ! It HAS to be the second single, it is the most cherrypicked on the album, can you imagine how much album sales it would bring if it was released ! 'Stay' is so epic, and to an extent - dark! And I definitely think it showcases Miley's progression in sound that she aims to portray with this era! I REALLY hope 'Stay' and 'Liberty Walk' are the 2nd and 3rd singles!
June 23, 201015 yr Yup been in top 200 for over 15months :) If 'Stay' gets released I think it could do as well as 'The Climb' did, it is much much better as well Miley sounds a lot like Faith Hill on 'Stay'
June 23, 201015 yr tbh i hated stay a while ago.. now i love it!! that, liberty walk, robot, cbt, permanent december are my favs :( i dislike scars.

June 23, 201015 yr I much prefer "Every Rose" or "My Heart Beats" over "Stay". I guess I kindah have over listened to it after all it comes after my 2nd most played "Can't Be Tamed" album track ;)
June 23, 201015 yr Album's expected to sell around 110-120K. I guessed it be around that ^_^. Although enough for a #1 in recent weeks, it'll fall short to Eminen's 550-600K sales (of course :P).
June 23, 201015 yr I was thinking ~150k so it's a bit lower than I anticipated. We shall know more on Friday though. Still doing well though :)
June 23, 201015 yr Oh God, that's disasterous. I do hope she's not going to suddenly stop selling in big numbers now, just as her music is improving at such a rapid pace...
June 23, 201015 yr The thing is... I think she has alienated the majority of her fan base now. All the youngens are aware that Hannah Montana is all grown up now.
June 23, 201015 yr The thing is... I think she has alienated the majority of her fan base now. All the youngens are aware that Hannah Montana is all grown up now. Yeah I guess this album won't have all the tween HM fans rushing out to buy it like the others did, but hopefully with good single choices it could have quite a lengthy run on the charts and decent sales. It's gonna take a while before she really starts to develop an older fanbase but some of the songs on CBT have the potential to do that.
June 23, 201015 yr 110,000 i seriously thought it would sell 300,000 as time of our lives even sold 225,000 on its second week and 62,000(because of mixup) on first week
June 23, 201015 yr I'm not that surprised at all and they're the kind of figures I was expecting tbh. She's gone completely against her core audience and CBT hasn't proven to be the megahit it should have been like PITUSA was.
June 23, 201015 yr It's disappointing when comparing to 'Breakout's' opening figures, but this music transition is going to take time to gain a firm audience. To extend and consolidate her now older-target Fanbase, singles and promotion is key (though if She's planning on departing music for a while, it's kind of pointless to make this breakthrough). I hope HR milk this album for all it's worth though, given it's the last from their money maker for a time.

June 23, 201015 yr ^ Not really, this type of music is what sells in the UK. She never really had the HM support base in the UK as she does in the US and if you visit her fan forums a lot of them are moaning about this new look she has and that they want HM back etc. But I think the album is gonna be a sleeper success, CBT the single is picking up airplay at last now and it is currently somewhere between #9 and #11 on US iTunes with all version combined so I would not be suprised if it returns to the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 in a week or two and in the end sell Double Platinum like PITUSA, TC and SYA... Well I hope so because it is far superior!
