  1. Saw it last night, really enjoyed it. Not quite as good as No Way Home but that was for me, a 10/10 superhero movie and very hard to beat. Sadie's character reveal didn't generate any particular reaction from the audience, I think mostly because it wasn't much of a surprise... An interesting take on the character though and I'm really looking forward to her next appearance in MCU. I'd love to see him teamed up with The Punisher again, that was a really good pairing. And more Frank Castle is always welcome!

  6. BBC NewsBritney Spears arrested in CaliforniaCourt documents show she was arrested in Ventura County on Wednesday night. Many media sources now pointing to Variety's article who confirmed it was for a DUI. https://variety.com/2026/music/news/britney-spears-arrested-dui-1236680208/
  7. #5 in the UK, really pleased with the success she's having this era. Crazy to think that her highest peak before this was #25 with Dignity in 2007!
  8. We got 4 tickets to Manchester :) Ticketmaster and AXS got me in at both the same time - Ticketmaster had standing only, whereas AXS had a small selection of seats left to choose. Tickets were £89.50 each + fees.

Really interesting reading the online discourse about the decision for her to revisit this era in such a way. I don't really have an opinion either way, especially as this era was such a moment for me and our friendship group, it's the soundtrack to some really pivotal moments in our lives. I love all these tracks and still listen to them regularly. I do think it's disappointing that she hasn't re-recorded that P Diddy line though.

Yes, I started with 16k ahead of me. 20 minutes later there's 11979 ahead of me in the queue... For 1 date at a 2k capacity venue!

After having a really good time at the 143 tour, and despite literally everything else, I still remain cautiously optimistic that Katy can still deliver a good track.
  15. EX! EM! EY! ESS! It's a bop.
  16. Ice Cream was horrific. This is... OK.
  17. So, I had seen some of the memes about the lyrics on insta etc, and was super confused as I was just not hearing those at all. Turns out my first 3 playthroughs, I had been listening to the non-explicit version 🫣 Now time for playthrough 4 with a bit of filfth! My thoughts this stage are, I love it! I had convinced myself there would be some sort of deluxe being released as well like her last couple of releases, but it's quite refreshing only having 12 tracks - let's me get engrossed in each song and actually remember them. Early favourites are The Fate of Ophelia, Elizabeth Taylor and Father Figure.

So this probably sets the blueprint for their setlist on the upcoming Live in Concert tour then I guess? Shame they haven't included Kids on this - but I really just view greatest hits albums as playlists in this day and age, so it's makes no odds to me at all haha.
  19. Oh I don't like that :( I really don't like artists talking smack about their own work - especially such a recent release. I don't have any issue about them saying they've changed, the sentiment of the song doesn't reflect where they are now etc... but those songs made us your fan, you know? And Plastic Hearts is in my opinion her greatest album. As far as Something Beautiful is concerned, I actually haven't revisited it once since my first listen (other than a couple of songs which made my playlist), which isn't like me for Miley. But nothing is drawing me back...
  20. Have only had time to skim through it and not really take it all in, but Walk Of Fame (feat. Brittany Howard) is just sublime.

Some of the venues are doing 2-4-1 ticket offers (Cardiff and London at least), might go to Birmingham if they also start doing that.
  22. Got tickets for the extra London date. And it's on a Saturday too, much better than the previous mid-week options. Yay :)

The only guess I have of any confidence at the moment, is Marti Pellow as Wolf.
  24. I would have to agree with those who say the charges seem excessive - especially (with the limited info available) his friend for leaving him. A grown man seeks out drugs for his own consumption and dies as a result... sure there's some liability with the hotel staff who sold him drugs, but ultimate responsibility? I would have to say that lies with Liam alone. Of course, the law is the law. And I respect this is the law in Argentina.
