I'm actually really looking forward to Phil's story. As everyone else has said, Steve McFadden is totally the one to rock that one. He's a fantastic drunk, so I have high hopes for this one.

The show has some great females right now. Stacey, Jean, Denise, Ronnie, Janine etc. All gret tonight.

Loving Vanessa and Jodie - her voice is so cute

Hair on the back of my neck stood up when Lucas prayed as Denise was questioning him!

Week Commencing 14/21

Tuesday: 19:00 [1 hour]

Friday: 19:00 [30 minutes]

And that's all. :( Hopefully there'll be a couple more episodes during w/c 21st. :(

I think that's because Eastenders is noticeably an episode ahead at the moment. The last two 'Friday' episodes were both quite obviously meant to be Monday episodes as they've featured lines about what happened over 'the weekend'. It's from that random hour long episode we had on teen week, essentially giving us five episodes that week. (even though the Friday episode was totally out of place with the rest of the week) They had to give us three episodes worth at one point to get us back in sync.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing this week's episodes, really enjoyed last week's. I'm liking the new characters at the moment too, do we see Denise's sister again?

Sounds really interesting. I'm pretty excited to see where her storyline goes. I'm desperately hoping she'll be sticking around much longer than that three month contract...
Me too Jark. Really hope it all goes well and they keep her on. Great potential for her and Jodie :)

Boring, badly-executed episode tonight, thanks in no small part to Danny and Roxy as well as some very bizarre direction and scripting.

glad its not just me then, cos i watched it for the first time in a couple of weeks and thought it was utter rubbish.

i would like to see lucas get his comuppance...

Soap all round seems to be having an off patch at the minute. Emmerdale was poor towards the end of last week (not seen this week's yet) and Hollyoaks had their worst episode in about a month yesterday. Summer filler storylines taking over.

i dont watch hollyoaks, only half watch corrie and 'the london soap', emmerdale has always been patchy, but doesnt irritate me like the others do when they are poor. if emmerdale did irritate me like the other two main soaps do...id stop watching.

Danny is utterly appalling. Glenda's not an awful lot better. I have also decided the Darren/Random Ditzy Girl to be annoying - her reactions were very off, far too quickly switched from "you bast*rd" to "AWWW I love you smudgekins".

Ryan wining and dining the Slaters, including drunk lech Mo, partly made up for it all though.

ive never rated gynis barber, always thought she was a very poor actress and got parst for her looks more then her acting ability.

as for that ridiculous ryan storyline, its another huge AS IF... who tf has a lage indian meal for lunch? as if the others would be invited, as if he wouldnt just say 'no im not paying for everyone', as if he would, as for mo constantly going on... if a bloke of that age made such lewd suggestions to a young girl ryans age there would be public outcry, quite rightly so too.

bloody ridiculous.

ill read the papers for when lucas gets it... until then ill not be watching the london soap.

Why do you keep calling it 'the london soap'? Just call it EE. And of all the things in it which push the boundaries of credibility I hardly think having an Indian at lunch is one of them.

The whole Ryan/Janine/Lucas/Stacey thing is pointless and verging on bizarre. It's not funny at all. Here's hoping it actually leads to Stacey confessing to Ryan or something similar...

Eastenders was alright last week but there was so much stuff which could've been done better. Lucas converting the girl for example (although I believe that was done last minute?) and Danny being found out was a pathetic end to a story which has been building for ages.
