I'm glad someone feels the same. I also thought it was ridiculous how it was all of a sudden tidy a scene or two later, and the way Peggy started slagging off Lisa was very poor script-writing. Hopefully QUEEN LISA will come along and save the Mitchells/make them relevant again.

I can't say I was sad to see Chelsea and Libby go..

Yes I think we've all had quite enough of Louise and her TERROR EYES. I did like seeing Lisa again. Always had a bit of a thing for her.

 

I'm actually REALLY sad to see Chelsea go - one of the best supporting characters in the show by some margin. Liz was lovely too. I liked her awkward goodbye with Dot.

Nice to see Lisa again, but a real shame that the Phil/Shirley family unit has now been torn to bits. And with Louise presumably gone for good and Zsa-Zsa leaving soon, it wont really return even when Ben does.

 

Nice enough exit for Liz, Chelsea and Libby. I was quite happy seeing them not being killed off, and with the possibility of them returning aswell. It perhaps would have been better letting them stay a few more weeks though, since they only re-united with Denise last week. Nice touch having Darren there saying goobye to Libby too. I hope they both return sometime soon, though Libby was axed so that might not happen, but I will Chelsea - she wasnt heavily used but it would have been nice had she been given some more gripping storylines of her own.

Chelsea isn't the kind of character who can handle big storylines alone though. She's practically only ever been used as a bit player in other people's storylines - Denise, Amira, Jack, Libby even - and that's fine. You need characters like that. If the other supporting characters were as great as Chelsea there wouldn't be a weak link in the cast!

It was great to see Queen Lisa again, although I don't remember her being THAT cockney before? I really wanted a return to the square so she could rub shoulders with a few people, but alas, beggars can't be choosers.

 

I don't like where they're taking the Mitchells at the mo, but I hold out hold for a good Phil-does-drugs story.

I think she looks pretty well-cast. Still good-looking, still dark haired with a pale complexion, still sullen as fuck. Here's hoping this one can act.

 

 

Also JamesP will never forgive me for saying this but she looks like she might render Zsa Zsa irrelevant.

Tanya Franks who plays Rainie always seems to be cast as a messy drunk. She was the same in Skins and Pulling. I really like her. Glad Kim is back full-time now too!

Me too, I was so happy when I saw her come through the door. Really looking forward to see a lot more of her now. :D

Rainie and phil could be very well suited short term, although i would have loved a Lisa and Phil showdown, it was great to see Lisa back but im hugely disapointed by the tiny amount of airtime she got.

I find it a bit daft (actually very daft) how Pat and Janine are alright with each other now after everything thats gone on.
