Quality scenes with Jack and Ronnie tonight. Was it me or was Sam Womack looking stunning? :heart:

 

Also loving the Max/Jack stuff. They bounce really well off eachother.

Yes, you can tell Jake Wood and Scott Maslen get on really well (and snap with Scott and Sam, as you'd expect since they're god parents to one another's children!) because they have massive chemistry on screen. This is why I actually really like Ronnie and Jack together, I just hate the will-they-won't-they that leads up to it for months.

Yes I just hope Ronnie/Jack have some happy time coming up. Both deserve it lol.

Jack and Ronnie definitly have brillint on screen chemistry and the scenes tonight were touching, its great to see max and jack getin along well again as i think they would make a great team but are devious when need be.

I thought Masood was excellent yesterday. His emotional reaction is very similar to the one my mother had when I told her I was gay so it seems really realistic to me, a combination of fear, wanting to look after your son and genuine sadness and confusion that it doesn't fit within your belief system.

The cutting/bleeding this was an amazing dramatic device. Unexpected and arresting.

 

Ronnie/Jack's scene on Tuesday was the best scene since the live episode in my opinion. Frank and emotional and very believable.

Ben is stealing the show.

The last few episodes have been very good. Ben is turning out to be a skilled child actor.

Ben saying "blud" really perked up my day.

Ben is nowhere near as bad as he used to be. The street talk is very cringey so I'm relieved that it was meant to be.

 

I had a point to make but I've completely forgotten it. Does anyone think Chelsea and Amira mixed up the pregnancy tests? It would be immense if at some point (after dragging Jack and Ronnie through hell) Chelsea discovered she wasn't pregnant, meaning Amira (who has departed by this point) is carrying Syed's bun in the oven after all.

I think that may well be the pregnancy outcome and it would be a justifiable exit for both aswell. I haveto say i usually hate Ben but he has improved and im starting to feel for the poor young lad.

Amira IS pregnant. She leaves next week and tells Chelsea before she leaves. The Masoods however are unaware that she is pregnant..

I think Ben is bloody awful! The sooner someone puts super-glue in his ballet pumps the better.

 

The Masoods on the other hand are absolutely fantastic. I watched a full episode tonight and was thoroughly entertained. Nice to have Eastender actually have ethnic characters in ... and give them decent dialogue and a purpose to be there other than to be the 'token' ethnics.

The way he was looking at the wallpaper in that scene/waiting for them to go inside suggests that he did.

 

I enjoyed this week, glad it's finally going somewhere. I was hoping the fall out would be this week, gonna have to wait another week to see it now! I also thought the pregnancy tests getting mixed up was the likely case

so I'm not surprised that's where they're going with it.

 

 

What's up with Ben's voice this week? Even when he ditched the chav talk he sounded ridiculous! I'm really not feeling the spoiler regarding him either. Ugh.
