i pm mikey and he hasnt the figures but michael jackson got number 1 that week with sales of 118,00 so he reckons body language had around 70,000 sales that week

its good enough sales and it sold more in one week than the forever under rated impossible princess did since it was released

at the laest im sure its 2nd week sales had to be 30,000 plus as ut was a good time of year for sales, plus body language was on th echart for the christmas market where sales are high all round

400,000 is quite respectable in my own opinion,i know fever did massive and was hard to follow, but nothing shabby about the 300-400,000 sales mark

It was quite daring of her to do something so drastically different after Fever, she could well have done more of the same to sustain popularity (and I was probably expecting her too), but it was a complete change in direction and I love the album.

Of course it fared nowhere near as well as Fever, but at least she took the risk.

yes i see what you mean,a pop style follow up would have been safe but she changed direction which i i guess is better for kylie herself as an artist

the other side also is had this album been the comeback album instead of light years it wouldnt have done aswell as she wouldnt have been mega huge all over again, the time of releasing in experimental view was perfect

Well, it managed about 350 - 400k in total, despite the second and third singles doing practically nothing to boost the sales of the album.

I don't agree that Red Blooded Woman did nothing to boost the sale as the time of the single release, BL re-entered at No.71, then skyrocketing to No.17 few weeks after, that's when the sale of BL increased to 300K.

This is wrong.

BL re-entered at 41 the week after RBW entered the chart, climbed to 28, then went back down to 41 again before slipping fast again.

thats what im just looking up on in my charts and was just about to post that, still red blooded woman did help body langauge sales

well, if Secret was released instead of chocolate, the sales could have gone up to 500K.

I am pretty surprised that secret wasn't released, I mean, the performance in Money Can't Buy is very fantastic that they wouldn't need to film a new video for that song as well but the single could have easily been a Top 5 single for Kylie!!

i cant understand why a fourth single wasnt released

secrets or promises would have been ideal, wasnt promises meant to be released,as it was played here on the radio a few times
