BBC 6 Music iPlayer:

The David Bowie Story:

Part 1 of 6: This episode looks at Bowie's beginnings in the music industry.

This is music history that most X-Factor/Cheryl Cole/Miley Cyrus/The Saturdays loving fans are growing up completely ignorant of because programmes like this are never produced and played on Radio 1.

Her best songs to date are on that album (not counting covers she's recorded)

I'm listening to R. Kelly and George Michael.

When a Woman's Fed Up is amazing r&b track...Michael has the unique voice and can't do wrong with it.. I still think naming his comeback single 'Freeek!' instead of just 'Freak' was the biggest mistake of his career (alongside the sex scandal obviously)

Underpass---by John Foxx...live clip from the roundhouse concert last week;)

Today I was having an orchestral mood... so it's been Craig Armstrong's gorgeous 'Space Between Us' album featuring the beautiful Elizabeth Fraser track 'This Love'

:o this is getting spookier by the day - I was playing Infant Kiss on the way home - imagine if someone released a song as provocative now? The subject is just... well.... shocking, isn't it? The babysitter being seduced by the child.... :o
